  1. Many people here know me, I've been around since the beginning. Back when I first started out on DarkOrbit, it was fun. I did minor things in the game and instantly got hooked on the whole concept. Obviously a lot has changed, many things I supported, many of which I didn't. But regardless of all that, this game made me happy. I've gone through a lot in life. As I got older things kept getting worse. When I was just a kid, still drawing random crap on a piece of paper like children do, my dad almost died in an accident, and since that day (I'm now 23 going on 24 in a few months) my dad has been slowly rotting away. He's broken, he's been in and out of the hospital for his heart and more. It's been stressful on me, I've lost a lot of loved ones over the years, and have had a lot of trouble in my daily life, work troubles, being betrayed by those you call your friends... But DarkOrbit was a type of safe haven for me. I had a lot of fun, met a lot of amazing people from all over, and some of them I considered to be true friends, younger, older, the same age as me, so many of them I've gotten close to. I spent YEARS playing DarkOrbit, gained my love for videos from someone I met in this game who made PvP videos. Even as the game got ruined by cheaters, I still had fun with those friends, I had some where to lose myself in. I wish I could get lost in this game like I did in the past, but things have changed, my life has been getting bashed into a wall, and it makes me remember all the times I escaped to the world of DarkOrbit to put a smile on my face. This game even pushed me to be competitive, whether good or bad lmao. Truthfully, no matter what state this game gets into, it'll always be something special to me.

I want to thank those friends I made on here, you all know who you are if you read this. And I wanna thank some of the Mods and Admins that made things interesting, quite a few of them were sensational people.

(I'm pretty sure this is a good section to post this in, apologies if it's not, I've been away for some time.)
  2. Sometimes we can't choose the music life gives us but we can definitely choose how we dance.

We've had some great times on this game my friend. It's been a blast! Life can be difficult to say the least.

Last year I lost my step son to suicide he was 28 raised him from 8, this year lost my father to old age. I can feel your pain and understand all too well just how hard things can become, even well after they have seemed already to have been the worst.

I've thought of you often my friend, this is a great post and I wish for you only the very best in life.
When Things go wrong, as they sometimes will,
When the road you're trudging seems all uphill,
When the funds are low and debts are high,
And you want to Smile but have to sigh.
When care is pressing you down a bit,
Rest, if you must, but don't you quit.

Life is queer with its twists and turns,
As everyone of us sometimes learns,
And many a failure turns about,
When he might have won if he'd stuck it out,
Don't give up though the pace seems slow,
You might succeed with another blow.

Often the struggler has given up,
When he might captured the victor's cup.
And he learned too late, when the night slipped down,
How close he was to the golden crown,

Success is failure turned inside out,
The silver tint of clouds of doubt,
And you never can tell how close you are,
It may be near when it seems afar,
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit,
It's when things seem worst that you mustn't quit.

    Be safe my friend!!

    Dear Dream,

I'm so sorry for you father. It is so hard to see a love one in such pain. I know been there. My brothers and I are orphans and now all our aunts and uncles are gone. Now Death is starting on our cousins. We only have each other I thought,

That isn't true. We also have each other here. I have been at this game for several years, and it has change in not in a good way. The only Constance is the people I/we meet here. There are some great pilots here.

Your road is ruff but you will get through it. I know you can. My thoughts and my prayers will be of you and your dad.
