Hey. Whenever I try to login via Firefox, the game stuck in the "Starting Game..." screen, whether it is live server or test server. This started to happen after I cleared the game cache. Help please.

    --MERGED--

Moderator you can merge my comment to my thread but you can't help me in my problem?

No, but you can help yourself using that search "function" in the right corner above. I am sure many suggestions and solutions will appear.
I suggest you to read this guide if you haven't already.
Another thing, in future avoid consecutive posting since it is treated as spam. Use the "edit" button if you have something to add to your previous post.

    Cheers.

Mal is simply teaching you how to fish, and in this case, for a very simple and common fish.

Will it seems that I can't "catch the fish" in the Technical Support section, and as I said, I "tried to catch the fish" before posting this, I couldn't find any related post to my problem, and I'm still stuck in it, even the link posted by MegaNuker didn't help me. If you think you can catch this fish for me then help me and give me a link directed to my problem "I doubt you will find any".

Try clearing browser data and also try restarting pc. If all that fails the post suggests useing the thin client.

That didn't help, and I'm using the browser to login to test server. Any way to login to test server via thin client?

Searching for "Test server client" and clicking on the second search result brought me to this thread.

    https://board-en.drakensang.com/threads/help-me-how-to-play-the-test-server.70419/
Read through the thread and you find that post #6 answers your question.

Going back to the search results you can find where nerds have even automated the process.

Or, if we keep looking, we find an announcement of when BP was doing a special test and actually gave the official guide on how to do it.

There is your fish for the day. Next question, try the rod and reel approach.

Have you even read my problem? This has nothing to do with the "game stuck at starting game screen" problem. This only shows how to login in to test server for those who don't know the link, or those who don't know that Chrome does not support Java anymore.
I appreciate the help for how to login through client to test server, still want my problem to be fixed.

Do you restart or sleep the computer. Sometimes processes get stuck. My workstation at work never gets restarted I always hibernate it. If this is your common practice then that might be the problem.

If you have restarted and still are stuck loading game check your free hard drive space if that is fine then there might be another larger issue.

I will be on tonight (7pm EST) if you want deeper help install Razer Comm and search MegaNuker. Request friend invite and I will go over all settings one by one to see where the problem lies

Describe your problem ... just saying "starting screen" is not enough .
Or ... if you can't describe it just post a screenshot ... one picture can replace thousand words.

It may be related to server problems, &/or terrible weather conditions. DSO does not get along well with modern systems.

I use firefox to play in browser, but usually use the thin client. Firefox and Java do not update well with each other. Try updating your Java manually in the computer's control panel. It has fixed it for me in the past.

No terrible weather conditions, and both firefox and java are updated, still not fixed :(

You asked how to log into the test server with the client...
and then I told you in the immediately following post by providing you three links and the search terms that led me there. Do you read your own posts?

I'll let these other fine people try to help you with getting FireFox to work, but, because there are plenty of people who access Test Server with FF on a daily basis meaning that the problem is not with FireFox, Java, or BP's stable server, I'm sure that it is either a ID-10T error or "problem exists between keyboard and chair" hardware problem. I gave you a work around, it is up to you to use it.

What country are you playing from?
Did you try pinging the server?
You mean the files in Temp\DSOClient folder? If not ... delete the whole DSOClinet folder.
Since the client is not using Java ... you don't have to do this next step ... but do it anyway --> exit the game uninstall Java ... then go to Temp and delete the whole DSOClient folder ... and then delete the Java folder in C:\Users\Your_User_Name\AppData\LocalLow\Sun.
Install Java again ... and try running the game and don't forget to give permission to "always run" and "remember".

Sounds like you know what you're doing. You might verify java control panel settings, or do a complete Java Uninstall/reinstall.

You can try another web browser that support java like Maxthon (may be useful to check out any error in java if it works), usually I play in firefox another times in Maxthon, same experience in both of them.

    So I did the following:
Delete DSOClient file, uninstall the game and re-install it.
    Delete Jave and re-install it.
    uninstall Firefox and re-install it.
Non of these helped. I also installed Maxthon and got the same problem in it.
