Test how? They taken away all the gold and every item on test server, I have nothing to test it with.

You don't need lot of gold for testing. You can use low level green/blue items ... they are pretty much cheap for crafting and you will learn the basics.

    EDIT

Low level like level 10+ ... because you can't put level 1-9 on workbench.

Like Trakilaki said, I've shared everything I know and I am following those recommendations exactly. Things will be slowing down for me now because I've used up all the items that I've been saving for the past 3-6 months and have only a page worth of random blue and purple ingredient items and only have enough like items to be combining blues into exos whenever I find two junk belts, two junk shields, or two junk boots. I've also burned through about 4800 gold since Crafting 2.0 started leaving me with only a little over 300. I've now shifted my attention back into the phase where I accumulate items with desirable stats and am working on getting my gold back up over 1000.
That torso is a small step better than mine... congrats!

This is what i get so far, i crafted 4 legends and finally got this. I will try to switch the lower dmg% by a bigger one with another crafting.

Not bad. Still a little slow, but better than most. Trakilaki is right to be looking at those speed lines. One or two of them make a huge difference on a long bow.

Insert at least one attack speed line instead of those low % weapon damage and you will notice the difference.

BTW .. why using Black Warlord Regalia? It is not good for rangers.

I'm just logging of for the night, but in about 18 hours I'll get back in and give it to you the simplest I can. In the meantime, view it like a casino game where you are betting against the house, and you can choose a greater chance of a quality reward, but at greater risk, or you can play it safe, but it is likely to take you longer and more gold. I'll also describe where my lucky crafts fit into that risk/reward wager so you can understand just how much luck really factored in. The torso was mathematically predictable, but the weapon and gloves were both significant anomalies, better known as "luck."

Your conclusion is for a build with the warlord set that I don't have. But I'm not gonna go 1H&Sh anytime soon, so, that's for testing.
Anyway... I managed to get a golden armor line from green to blue in the first try.
Tried once to get the blue BR lines in a purple, but without success, it took both lines from the first shield, I need more junk.
Also, it took me 5 tries to get a 65% increased wpn dmg line from geen to blue.
He basically did it for me here:

Similar math applies even without Dragan's set. Then, you are looking for a 2/2 shield with rate and strength, but armor is still not a good choice.

Then you put 2 of those crafted axes in the workbench with other 2 axes with bad stats and craft untill you have a crafted axe with 3 good stats. Repeat this with the others 2 crafted 1h axes to make another crafted axe with 3 good stats.

In the end, you put the two crafted 1h axes with 3 good stats in the workbench, with other 2 axes, till you have a crafted 1h axe with 4 good stats

I would have made a "table" also for pink-to-legend and legend-to-legend but i was writing with smartphone and it was really hard:oops:

I have found it easier to craft 2 2 good Stat lines and farm for two 1x good Stat lines for use in the creating a legendary. At least you still get to keep you purple 2x good Stat if it fails...

First of, excellent tables. That describes it perfectly.

Like MegaNuker said, if you can farm exo and legendary items with a single good start line, using them in the third and fourth spots to improve your chances is one of their only uses, but personally, I'd keep throwing total junk items in spots three and four while farming those single start items, if you have the gold, that is.

What UndergroundKiller describes is exactly how I got my items, but now to explain how luck factored in. His tables may show the process, but they don't address your probabilities or the average cost due to those probabilities. In the case of trying to get the two good stats from the two blue items to the extraordinary item, your odds are about 1:28. This means that, on average, it could take 28 tries to successfully make the desired exo. And it gets both expensive in terms of both gold and junk items. Now, you could get lucky and get it on you first try, or you could try 100 times and still not get it. Similar math holds true for the crafting legendary items. I followed what NegaNuker described when crafting my legendary, but instead if it taking 10-50 tries (like math might have predicted) I got lucky on my first try. Luck... I know you think I have some sort of secret knowledge, but the truth is that it was all luck.

In the end, because we now have "some" knowledge of the odds, it is supposed to be better. At least that is what we tell ourselves.

However, when we didn't know the odds, players were still able to get amazing or junk gear.

Not much has changed in that regard, it is still a matter of random luck.
