    Hi

I am currently L35 and yet I have only accumulated 23 gold coins despite completing all quests and now starting Atlantis.

It seems I receive '000's' of coin at the end of most big quests and yet they rarely amount to any gold. I have a quest outstanding for a Cloak of Power that requires 200 gold - which at the current rate will take forever!

    Am I doing something wrong?

    Thanks

    VH

You can't get lot of gold from the quests.
To get decent amount of gold you need to farm PWs and doing DQs while farming.

200 Gold? Did they change the price?

Hello @Von_Habsburg and welcome to the forums.

I think there is just some confusion with how the currency is expressed. "Coins" = coppers. 100 coppers = 1 silver. 100 silver = 1 gold.

So for example, if you get a quest that offers you "1000 coins" as a reward, that is equal to 10 silvers.

    Cheers,
    Anyki

Ah I see. Many thanks. I also noted that the title for the 'cloak' quest differs from the actual cloak offered. The 'Power cloak' was in fact a cloak on insight costing 1 gold :)

Thanks for your help. Much obliged.

"Cloak of Power" is the name of both the quest line and the name of the last cloak in the line. I can see where the confusion came from. :D For most players though, "Cloak of Power" will mean the actual item, not the quests.

    Hope that helps.

    Cheers,
    Anyki

the cash from quests its way too little it should've been at least 1gold for 1-10 lvls, 3gold 11-20lvl, 5gold 21-30lvl, 10gold 31-40, and 41-50 somewhere around 20 or more

I think the coin obtained from leveling up is fine. It is more than sufficient to repair gear which is all that is really needed. You should not be crafting anything until you reach endgame.

True, But we want to do jesters aswell

Do you know how end game players play the jesters? We've run out of quests, so we end up farming in the high difficulty areas, selling a lot of items (instead of melting), and have to decide if it is worth crafting with or gambling with. There will be plenty of time to gamble when you reach end game, but for now, focus on leveling up.

Im level 43 at the moment and play quite alot. But farming gorga gets really boring. I need 800k exp and probably when in level 44 i'll have to grind till level 47-48 by killing the next boss... Or is lvl 45-50 quests only? I hope the quests don't give (just like at lvl 40-45)only 1/3rd of your level. And i know. back in the day it was even worse. but its still quiet annoying. They should've made some quests telling you to kill gorga (or an enemy at the place your at since thats great for realm fragments and event items aswell) many times for a big exp reward. Farming bosses is probably one of the endgame things. But the items you get there are helpfull. These items i get from gorga wont really help me in endgame. by knowing im only doing it for some exp and not getting Realm fragments and event items (openers) makes it even more boring.

Oh no, not even close. I am trying to go through level 45 and the quests give really embarrassing exp like 20-30k each compared to 100k+ in level 44 quests. It takes forever to go through level 45 and also the monsters are really hard compared to the monsters in Stalgard. I don't know about upper levels. My guess is that they will be as bad as or worse than 45.

If the monsters are really hard at your level, go a level below where you are until you aren't struggling so hard. I know it may be frustrating not to advance as fast, but advancing and spending most of your time dying is the pits. Do the Cloak quest. Farm Atlantis until your eyes bug out. Then when you get to Thunder Crest, you can just whip through it.

I am not sure once you get past level 20 there are ever JUST enough qwests to complete to make you auto-level. I am also not sure you would ever want that from a level limited( defined level max) dungeon crawler. You have to "farm" some at least and if you do as above and follow some or all of the optional qwests( including capes) you will never be without something to do. Get sick of the cape qwests, work on an event like full/new moon for a couple days plus there are other events as well periodically. even if your only goal for a specific level is to hunt until you find a single better piece of gear, moving forward becomes less tedious. i agree farming one boss for an entire level would likely cause me to log out early each day but there is more to the game and honestly just pushing to level 50 so that you can then become stronger is a losing propisition. It will likely work to get to level 40 or 45 sure but after that you will become so weak compared to the critters you face that you will forever be labeled as the "super noob" by anyone you try to guam off in a party, even if you might have a decent guild.

I am not suggesting farm and craft to get the ultimate level 45 piece of gear, or penultimate level 40 set, but note there is a big difference between drops from lvl30-lvl49 hunting for a simple red or maybe yellow piece of decent gear can make a difference

So i became level 44 today. since i love questing in this game (got to level 40 in a splitsecond) i've done all quests already.
Seems like i still need another 2.000.000 exp! Please dont tell me to kill Gorga 2.000.000:4000=500 times!! (4000 is the exp you gain and probably even lower) I want to quest more :( I love how this game has alot of different places and they all look amazing! and i want to discover more. But since level 40 i have to farm gorga 2, now probably 3-4 days and then quest 3 hours... It just ruins my fun... and farming destructor isnt really that better. Why did they ruin this part so bad while they had the perfect place all they had to do was give more exp or make ALOT more quests... idc if thats a bit repetitive. Killing gorga 2k times, THAT is repetitive.

where are you at on the andraksch quests?

At level 44, you are too high to kill gorga. You should be killing the dragon commanders in thundercrest or something like that if you've finished most of the quests through stalgard and destructor.

Ive done all quests i could and i think at lvl 45 im going to the next place. And i tried killing at dungeons but its not really that much faster...
and if youre not finding an enemy for a while its even worse.

Join a group in Thunder Crest where someone is looking to kill the Dragon Commanders. Then have them turn on Quest Guidance. That will get you to them quickly.

I killed 1 dragon commander and he gave me 400 exp... so 10 dragon commanders equals 1 gorga kill... not better.
But that dragon commander dropped an amazing item http://prntscr.com/c85b5q :D
