Just right click on client's shortcut at your desktop and select "properties".

After "C:\Program Files (x86)\Drakensang Online\thinclient.exe" add - stable (with space in between)
    or copy paste this line:
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Drakensang Online\thinclient.exe" -stable

    Click "Apply" and "OK".
    That is all.

    trakilaki,
As you can obviously do it. How hard is it to go back and forth between the current running version and the test version?
Does it require a "re-install" each time, or is there a way to have both?

One would think that for the normal game you would have:
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Drakensang Online\thinclient.exe"
and then for the Test server you would get something like:
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Drakensang Online Test\thinclient.exe"

That way we could have both games, since you can't take characters between them.

P.S. This is my 100th posting. :) Yeah.

You only need to change back to the previous line again
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Drakensang Online\thinclient.exe"
    No "re-install" is required.
It doesn't go that way ... that is the path to the installation folder. If you change characters inside the quotation marks Windows would be unable to execute the file (you can't even change anything inside " ..... ")

I don't play in client I only play in browser. All it takes is to logout from live server and click the TS bookmark in the browser and login (saved login and pass)

    Congrats.
This is my 4566th and 650+ in the old forum :D

You should manually close this process with task manager
    [IMG]
probably it left running after you logged out (if you logged out and closed the client)

    No problems for me

Dude seriously ... why using client at TS when you can use the browser like a BOSS.

Nothing is running on task manager. I can't play now because somehow release 183 downloaded on regular servers for me. I have completed removed drakensang online twice and I still can't log in. And for one thing you can't log in in browser.

You missunderstood. I'm saying that it _should_ work that way. If it did, then there wouldn't be the problem that DeathRaider is having.

    DeathRaider,
Do an uninstall from Programs and Features, then go to %temp% and clear out files from your Temporary Directory (which is where DSO really runs from). Then re-install normally.

Yeah, but you've been here for centuries (in game life). :D

    ======================================
    EDIT:
I just tried to play in Firefox and I can select server, I can download the client, I can do the Voucher, I can buy Andermant, I can go to the Forum, I can go to the Wiki.

I cannot actually play the game in my browser. There is no "play" button.

Take a look at my first forum post, maybe it will help: https://board-en.drakensang.com/threads/play-in-the-browser.53635/page-2#post-639934

That is because of few reasons:
1.You need to have Flash Player and Java plugin for browser installed.
    2. If you do have installed Java ... you should give permissions to run and save them(see in bLaind's link).
    3. If you have Java installed and you did give permissions but you still can't see the "Play Now" button (there is "download " button instead) ... that is because you have installed 64bit Java version. Your OS may be 64bit ... but Firefox is 32bit so you need to install 32bit Java version.
When you are starting the client ... always wait until it confirms it is ready. Don't do anything until then ... don't even type your username/password.

If you already used it for TS and there is a different version ... you would probably get "new client version available" notification. You should install the new version and then it will download the entire content all over again. That is why you should not use client for TS ... because this may happen every time you switch from TS to live server.
I don't understand ... why you can't login with browser?
