I suppose is a joke or a fake.
I mean : is lvl 55 the first priority checkpoint for DSO ?

It is if they think that will bring new players to the game. All of that development time for players to just power through to get to the end game in two weeks. So nearsighted they are.

Please mod/dev/gm can you give us all some tanbigle, real, rewarding news about that ?

10 few days left from the upcoming expansion and not a excerpt of news ?

Will this be a complete suprise ?

Explore a desert landscape... lol. Guess why. To save on textures :D:p:p My sixth sense suggests that it will be something worst than the BP's worst ever (the current Qiazah does not give the hope for anything better)

It is my first time that an incoming update ( expansion ) is perceived as bad from the community as that one on DSO.
Lots of my friends list and guild members are so scared. They only are talking about of leaving the game.
Maybe due to the fact that creating and building a good player in this game is extremely hard.
Crafting or dropping some good equipment is almost rare.
Feeling that bad taste to restart everything once again is particularly enervating inside DSO.
I keep my fingers crossed and keep the hope safe. Don't wanna lose it prematurely.

Yes , older players , specially DKs and RAs feel a bit insecure , specially after r155 when everything changes and we became paper thin. But as you see , most us , those that didnt give up, are here :)

Creating a new char in DSO was never so easy like now. I see 6 months rangers that can reasonably run lvl 1 pw maps solo. When i started that was truly impossible. I remember when i reach old pw , grimag map, i had to start entering the map and killing till i die, reset to atrium and get inside again , and believe me, i used to die in the first mobs of the map all the time. Till i notice there was premium service and i could keep in map, also had a huge help of Sirmadman lol. i was about lvl40 + and at that lvl was the first time i could finish old dragan event , but not even dreaming on his set. So now, we have 6 months players with warlord set they could buy with drakens, not even needed to farm as hell to get it. Its much much easier now.

Lets give it a time, if the new framework dont work , they will adapt and make it fit to the classes.

I like the idea of getting new content/lvls but im very dissapointed that all our progress for the past 2 years since Rise of Balor expansion will be erased and we will have to start from 0.We must farm again for uniques, craft again, pay again. There shouldve been some way to at least save some of our past work instead of forcing everyone to start from 0.

The way i see it, the only players who wont be affected by this release are the low ranks. For those who are lvl 50 already this update is nothing but a fresh start where you have to build your char again just to get to were you are now.

The runes are too expensive, especially the draken ones.Ive heard you need around 60k drakens to max one of those 2k drakens one.If we take a look at the events you barely make 1k draken /month.You can equip like 30 of those runes (20x hp runes and 10x dmg runes) so around 1.8 mil drakens will be required to max them all.If you play each month the full moon/new moon events, you will need like 200 years + to get that amount of drakens. This is a bit exagerated.

And what will happen with the sapphires? If you allow players to keep those that they have, the gap between old players and new players who will start after lvl 55 will be too big. Some will go over 2.00 speed with 2 handers. If you remove them and offer the ander back, then most players wont be able to even make half the speed that they had with the old sapphires because we all know how jesters are lol.The best way to go with this will be to swap the sapphires with speed runes.

Overall i wish you would find a way to keep a balance between old players and new ones and also to find a way where our 2 year old work wont be erased with just a patch.

The reason why many players are scared about this update is because of the lack of communication between the CM/Devs/Mods and the community. When we had the lvl 50 expansion the CMs kept us updated with the progress through forums/twitch while now everything was kept in the dark until few days prior to the expansion. This is not a good way to handle such important things imo because it leads to trust issues.

  11. Your observation is entirely valid. But we mods/admins can only share with the community what information Big Point has passed to us. And then only what they permit us to share. And when they allow us to share it.

What I can't figure out is how the game developers are always ahead of me. My main char was a DK, which got the biggest nerf. It was a 2h, but I had to get all new equipment to change to 1h after rel 155. I made a mage because they were really popular at one time, but then the SMs became the most desireable char. I spent most of my ander on sapphires and now they will be the most useless stone. The only good news is that I didn't waste any time on rangers.

Rangers will be the strongest class in pvp. They are now already.

In terms of players online , it's hard to find or create a group for a mod3 ( not to mention mod1 and mod2 for newbie lvl 50 ) even while on weekend.
I'm quite puzzled about the introduction of a mod4.

    --EDIT--
I must be honest, if you type in main chat : Inv me dwarf any q mod3 , than you will be flodded by requests

OK, so I was talking about PVE. Rangers and large payers rule PVP. That's why I don't do PVP. Yes, I know there are some others who are strong PVP players. I was never able to play 12 hours a day to get strong.

Same question. I keep seeing people say that, but high end sapphires are about to become the most powerful gems in the game simply because it will allow you to make builds that will be otherwise impossible for new players.

Especially on a SM, sapphires are still an infinitely better choice for a 2H build than using onyxs, and what else do you have that you could put in your weapon decoration? More Rubies?

regardless of what happens the max attack speed is 4 and if you have sapphires higher then 8% you will use less slots to get to that max attack speed because rune attack speed goes up to 8%. therfore you can use the slots for rubies or onyx runes.

the facts are there are 10 slots max in each of the 2 weapon items. So how you fill these 20 slots, there are many ways to do this and if you have large sapphires you have more different options to build then the players who dont have big sapphires.

    dont worry be happy
