Question about D6?

hi there, good day to all. i use to play dso but i got busy working lately so i stoped playing like 4 moths ago.. back then i sometimes farm with friends in D6, which my low level could not enter anymore when i got back to the game just 2 days ago.. can a low level still go there to farm? i can see a lot has changed so i really dont have any idea of this. i cant see the relevance that i can go D7 and D8 but could go D6 anymore. Thanks in advance for those would like to answer..

 

I take it you mean "Ocean of bones" and Mortis.
If you only took the break 4 months ago it shouldn't affect you, but i remember an update making Q6 (or D6 as you call it) giving some players trouble.
If i remember right it affected only those who hadn't been to Cardhun after it was released. but if you already did D1 to D8 you should be able to go in 6 also

 

yes i have problem going in Q6 "Ocean of bones". i am already done until Q7 and on to kill 4x more the boss in Q8. but i cant enter Q6. it says required level 50-55. what happened? do i have to do a quest again to be able to enter the dungeon?

and when I try to enter it says this path is only open for characters who reached level 50
why put level restriction on Q6, while there is still higher Q7 Q8? should the restriction be in Q8 because it is the highest dungeon in PW?

hi all, I just would like to know since when Q6 had level restriction? shouldn't the restriction be in Q8 because its highest dungeon? sorry for the question, I was gone for 4 months due to work and I just back to play DSO. my low level cant enter Q6 now a days with friends

 

great idea if all PW's are still to be open to twinks allow q1 at level 10, q2 at level 20, q3 at level 30, q4 at level 40 and the rest at level 50. Is there hope maybe we are heading to something like this.

 

It doesn't matter if we call it Q6 ...it will always be the last Q.
Q6 is available only to level 50+ players (at least Mortis) ...also you have to have all the other quests q1-q8 finished.

 

This probably belongs elsewhere, but ... my original toon is a Level 50 RA, old enough that he was in old parellel worlds, including Ocean of Bones and faced Mortis, but never killed him.

In the new Parallel Worlds, he's still working on Q2 if I remember correctly (definitely not as far as Q4) ... I don't actually play him any longer (I play a different RA Now at Level 54), just keep up the daily login bonus, and occasionally, now that there are more Knowledge levels to achieve, do a Daily Quest to get Ancient Wisom points. Yesterday I finished the middle Daily 1 (kill 5 worthy champion monsters), and middle Daily 2 (kill Balor) ... the middle Daily 3 that popped up told me to kill Mortis. How can this be? One-time bug? Or is your assertion incorrect on having to complete Q1-Q5, and Q7-Q8 before you can go to Q6?

 

Of course if you had completed the quests to unlock q6m2 before r155, q6 remained unlocked for your toon. So it's not a bug

 

Well, I'll be: That door >is< open in Cardhun, even though I haven't completed Q2 let along the rest of the Q's.

I still think it's a bug: I never killed Mortis in the old PW (nor, clearly, in the new PW), so how can he show up in my Daily Quest options?
