News from TS:
1) it's impossible to craft: I tried wit 4 item and with 4 rings or 2h weapon.
2) entrance costs change with difficult: challenge1 100 normal, 135 painful, 170 excruciating and 205 lethal.
It's same for map 40, 75, 110 and 145.
3) final chest in challenge1 map is always empty

 

isn't this more than it used to be? i thought they started by 30 and went 30 per map till 120 (yay for math) on map 4

Anything that currently has the "post R185 version" and it works exactly as you were converting the item with the transfering enchantment craft (pristine cores craft).
You will get the same unique with the base stats post R185 and the same lvl & slots that the original item had therefor IMHO it's not worth it since will stay with a lvl 50 item but someone will find it better than farming the item again.
ATM you can't convert the warlord since there's no post R185 version.

In the old version of the event any map had it's own entrance cost which was the same in any difficult. Now the cost changes ALSO based on the difficult. This is true both for the challenges and the minimaps.

Exactly like the PW vendors, they will sell the items with the tier based on the difficult of the map. If you enter in mod 1 (normal) you can buy T0 items, if you enter in mod 5 (infernal 1) you can buy T4 items.

More speculations and intersting notes:
- Bellicose boots look a lot more interesting than Grimmag's ones for dwarfs (because the debuff from the whole set doesn't work on bosses and I've not seens many dwarfs use it in the maps)

I'm speaking about dwarfs because, I suppose, the other classes will want to wait/use the magotina's/karabossa's boots. Tanks, instead, will probably find Grimmag's boots more usefull for the embedded fire resistance.
- there's a "Jolly Gem" as reward in the chest in the first map
- it's possibile to use BOTH the warlord regalia AND the bellicose set (if you don't use the Q7 gloves)
- it's possible to use the Q7 set and the bellicose 3/3 set using the Dragan signet ring
- the new torso from the Battleworn set seems better than the Sigri's torso FOR TANKS (since it has the same armor value but a more interesting unique attibute)
- more will come but so far it seems a lot of interesting stuff

Sadly there's not "reworked warlord regalia" and IMHO this is the biggest flaw of the update.

 

No, pearls cost I wrote aren't for map1, map2, map3 and map4.
Entrance fee for map1 cost 40 pearls for normal difficult, 75 for painful, 110 for excruciating and 145 for fatal.
For map4 costs will be (I think, I've not tested): 120 in normal, 155 in painful, 190 in excruciating and 225 in fatal.

 

Hmmmm, and how? What about the helmet?

 

Warlord= helm, cloak, pauldrons
Bellicose= Gloves, boots, ring

 

Nope it is not an upgrader ... it is rather an updater.
Your old items gets the new stats ... but still remain level 50 or below.
Only good for twinks.

The workbench is currently bugged at TS.
As for the chests ... it is common practice for TS to release empty chests and blank quests ... and update them later.

Nice event, many new things and good things, i'm hurry to play it on Heredur

But the negative points for me :
- We can't farm Draken anymore, it seems only quests give them
- Dragan weapon is still useless (in comparison with all other weapon in the same tiers)
- I don't know why but Dragan weapon (2h) is included in the defensive set, is it a bug ?
- Red pearls will miss a lot because there's no Heredur anymore, but it's nice we need only 1 pearl per group
- It seems we can drop only 1 Draken core / boss in all levels but i think it will change before the event start

It's very nice to see Dragan again

 

the video shows 3 draken core dropped from the Widow
as for draken, if it's no longer a progress reward in events, it will be a pain to farm. unless you have 20k stacked somewhere

 

Draken hasn't been a progress reward in the Dragan event for a long time. You get it from the chests outside of each of the four maps and from Dragan himself... nothing new here.

 

Who said they are not there?



You only need to clear the entire map (m1, m2, m3, m4) and then they are spawning. Same mechanics as in the new maps.
However ... in normal mode I never got red pearls from the drop.
And there is a catch as always
... if you want to play those maps in infernal mode you will need to spend 2x 80 infernal frags ... once to enter Castle Ravencaw and then for the next map XD

For me this event has become very boring because it is targeting only one particular group of players
- those who are using 2H weapons
- Dragonkingts. (why would I need HP + small damage pet)

It looks like they are only making only new 2H stuff ... since long time ago.
Players who are using 1H weapons are being completely ignored ... especially if they are not tanks.

Or for us level 50-54 that still have <= level 50 items equiped.

I've a ring that is full of +Resistance enchantments (3 == +601 Resist All) that has no base stats. Beats trying to find items so I can craft it up, which is not going well so far.

Yes.

You do realize that new items are weaker than the old one ...right?
In order to get the new items' full potential you need to craft them ... and you can't do that with level 50 and below.
If you craft level 51-54 you are doomed XD ... when you get to level 55 you will need new level 55 item anyway. You can't even upgrade item's tier when level 55 ... because you would get level 55 unique item and your old converted item will be of lower level.
