    Hello, patch 192 will bring some equipment refiners. Does somebody know if I'll be able to use them to my old t1 Herold bow? In description of the item is written : Upgrade will change this to "siege bow". (from longbow). How is it supposed to work? I saw video about using these into old t3 Mortis ring to get t3 Mortis ring with stats that are currently in game. What about the tier of the bow? Can it transfer it from t1 to t3 or will it even work? I am a bit confused. I just don't know what kind of an upgrade do they mean. Thanks

    in short? no you can't
    these item refiners are there just to give the "old" pre-185 items the "base stats" that were introduced after release 185.
    you can't upgrade the tier of the items or such using those..
    and for some items it's even a bad idea to convert to the new version, since the base stats are lower than they used to be (see DK shields)

    You don't need item refiners for that ... all you have to do is put your old bow at the workbench together with Pristine and elemental cores and 2H Hoaxbow (not longbow) ... and you will get new item version ... 2H unique hoaxbow.
    Unfortunately at same level as before.
    I didn't test this ... but there is an issue.
    You can't craft level 50 unique items with leg items ... they need to be level 51+. But you can craft them with green, blue and exo items. Maybe this has changed with this release ... I can't test it.

    I HAD a lot of items with gold (orange?) base lines. Now not so much. The Dev's need to implement a YELLOW or PURPLE colored text to fill in where the ORANGE (gold?) coloring used to be so that we know "almost" great items, seeing how we "thought" they were great items before!

    Even better, start with Green (61-70%), Blue (71-80%), Purple (81-90%), Gold (91-100%) coloring so we have an even better idea what we are looking at. :)

    At least tell us at what percent the Gold coloring starts at. And add at least one more color for what was gold before and now isn't.
