I agree. Snotty noobs who think they are better than everyone else are the worst kind.

Don't you ever invite them in group!!!

I know... and with the recent changes to the group invite system, I can't even kick them out until I go to town.

I know...isn't that really unfair? It used to be such fun before the recent changes.

I think u are a bit unfair with @Audriukaas, he has his point. There are a lot of players who pretend they are stronger than they really are on reality and invite other stong players letting them to do all the job, and even dont using strong ess to strong bosses, thats not fair. I think everyone has the right to search for right team even on forum, and i dont see why this thing may be on shame.

Join a guild. Guilds are there to help each other. If someone in your guild is a little weaker, then help them become strong. My "elitist" perspective is that I don't usually help randoms because they want my help, but then won't help me in return. Also, for the reasons you list. You can't be sure they are actually contributing.
Sometimes, it is not what you say, but how you say it. Let me take his original post and write it in a way that is polite and respectful, but has the same message.

"I'm a strong dwarf looking for other players to farm Infernal II maps on. I have 28k damage and am looking to do regular boss runs.
    My toon's name is X.
    My server is X."

Did you notice what I left out? I left out the parts where he calls anyone who isn't as "OP" as him a noob.

As Baragain said, you should look for a guild, also, keep in mind that in this game friendship is something you buid up with another person, wether he's a strong char or not.

I'd like to point out that a weak character can still contribute to the battle. Just because they can't do a ton of damage doesn't mean they can't taunt, or kill / weaken some of the minor monsters, or provide spirit stones when appropriate.

I do agree that getting stuck with characters (weak or otherwise) who don't pitch in can be very frustrating...just don't add that non-participating leech back to your group.

If you would give me permission to do so, I could join your group and help you get the minor monsters. I have a DK on Level 30, and I can level up a little bit more. I generally only do PVE though. But, I understand if you refuse :).

I'm afraid the person who posted this does not want anybody short of over-powered near his vicinity... frankly, you're better off away from this kind of attitudes. Anyway, pretty sure he's lv55 and there is not much you can play against monsters of that level. At lv30, your first journey (through leveling up to max.) still has content to finish, so good luck and have fun on the way! A whole new world awaits at cap-level, where you can start to optimize.

  14. My noob is showing...what the heck is 'OP'? Original Player? - As for helping lower levels I will help them if they are willing to contribute somehow. I helped a lvl47 with fullmoon and have to say she did pretty good considering we did painful. I thought I would be handing out rez stones left and right , but no. :)

In this case, Over Powered. It can also mean Original Poster depending on context.

Over Powered. Basically that guy or gal who can do anything and is practically godlike by their class's standards.

Depending on context, it can occasionally mean "Original Poster" or "Opening Poster" in a thread.

    EDIT:
Dang Dragonnns, you beat me by seconds.
