Defending Janus Fox

Ok. I am, currently, using my Ranger. I am trying to defend Janus Fox, in Stalgard, and can't even come close. The game sends EVERYTHING at once, instead of in waves, and it's seemingly impossible. Is this like the Kobyashi Maru (no-win scenario from Star Trek) or is there an actual way to defend him successfully? PLEASE help. This is all my character has left in Andrakash. Would like to move on to the next town.

This is one of the very few places where the old kaboom bombs were useful to me, but yeah, defending quests are much more difficult these days as the NPCs have had their defensive stats nerfed.

Group if you can. If you can't, consider running scaling dungeons for awhile until you level up and/or stumble in to some better equipment, then go back and try to defend Janus again.

Actually, I considered that. Might be a while before I can get back to it but that's what I was thinking. Was just hoping to avoid backtracking. Thank you.

I can help if you haven't completed it as of yet. What is your character name?

 

Are you in a guild? If so, ask a couple people to come with you for a couple minuets and you'll make short work of this defend.

If you are not in a guild, find a guild... it's good for a lot more than helping you out on defend quests.
