    ^This.

It actually makes sense. To farm the resource needed to enter the highest difficulty, you need to be able to farm in the second highest difficulties, or at least farm there as a part of a team.

You also get some from the leaderboard season rewards, but those only come every two and a half months, so they aren't a steady source.

1Farm keys and farm bosses with keys in scaling dungeons
    2Farm parallel worlds inf 3
3Buy them with materi frags( which is connected to 2)
4Ander buying buts its irrelevant compared to 3
    And thats it

Ok, my input on this is that the infernal passages should be obtainable on Inf 1, 2, and 3.... at a drop rate of 1x, 2x, and 3x... depending on the difficulty.

I know that we can get the passages in inf 3 but we should be able to get them in any infernal mode (1 and 2)

Why? If you can't farm comfortably in Infernal III, why should you be getting the entry fee that allows you into Infernal IV? Infernal IV is supposed to be the end game content right now, and allowing people to farm it in Infernal I/II encourages people to farm in easier difficulties and then seek someone to carry them in the hardest difficulty.

That said, you can get Fragments of Infernal Passsage from Infernal I/II... in a way.
The catch is, this will be slower, and means you need to chose between using your Materi frags to buy items, cores, fragments, or passes to bosses. And this is how it should be. If you want the best of all worlds, get stronger and stop complaining that the end game content is not easily accessible for someone who is not adequately prepared for that content.

If they can carry you in inf4, why don't they carry you in inf3 as well?

Not in a long time. And that long ago, it wasn't really carrying since no one could reliably solo in the PWs... but that was nearly 7 years ago when they introduced the Parallel worlds. I've always preferred solo play and my character is 99% self made. If I'm running with a group, it is because I want to be helpful, not because I need them.

Now, let me clarify something here... I do carry people. If I have a guildy who says "I need to buy a T7Herald's Weapon. I have the Materi and the Infernal Passages." I'll help them. But, since they can easily (with patience) get 73749 by farming on their own and then buy the 140 Fragments of Infernal Passage, there is very little reason for me to carry them for eight runs of Infernal III to get them the necessary cores. That could take hours, depending on the PW we're running. On the other hand, if they are already farming for 71999 to buy the weapon, what's another 1750 for the entry fee?

But what does a single run carry to help someone get an item they want have anything to do with the fact that you can only farm the Fragments of Infernal Passage in the second highest difficulty? The answer is "Nothing." As I pointed out above, if it is a player is trying to do a single run, the cost to get into Infernal IV once is negligible... 1750 Materi. If they want to do lots of Infernal IV runs without spending all their Materi, then they really should already be farming regularly in Infernal III and have a stock of passes.

Bonus Trivia: A single run in an Infernal IV PW usually gives 1500 or more Materi with Glasses and other buffs. If you get the occasional Fissures map, it becomes self sustaining and you could run Infernal IV off of just the Materi Drops from the runs you make. The only time that this doesn't apply is when you are running events in Infernal IV since you don't get Materi from events.

Spot on. Back then groups were a cooperative effort in PW. Sure, a strong member was often used to help newbies get started. But it was still a team effort. If the newbies did not do as instructed the whole run could fall apart. (Not pulling mobs in the wrong place was a big deal back then.)

It is my nostalgia for these days that is the reason I generally do not like the whole 'carry me' meta that exists in today's game.

my bonus trivia: Quite often here a thread pops up asking what Q1, Q2, Q3, etc. means. Usually, a short answer to explain the geography is given. The actual origin is the original PW Quests. The quests were more important than just moving on to the next PW since the Ammon's gear was actually end game gear for a lot of players.
