The dissapearing singularity is indeed an annoying bug that needs to be fixed, and so is any ability dissapearing while going on cooldown for whatever reason that happens...

Agreed, the class is almost destroyed and not only in pvp but also in pve, EA does not even do its job properly for q7 users vs a boss, because they decided to remove armor break from bosses.

Armor break on bosses was never a thing. U could see the animation of brokenarmor but it wasnt actualyl working , becasue theanimation for armor breaking was showing due to a bug. That was an old bug from lv 45 or 50 idk. I remember testing it with every class"s armor break adn none of em incr my dmg so ye it was a bug to show the animation

Based on your win/lose , kd, its clear that as a pvp player you should not talk about pvp till you improve your gameplay cause it seems to be 0.

I’d like to see you do any better as ranger in the current crap-fest that is PvP. On the test server, I have a top ranger with close to the best possible stats and yet PvP is still an absolute nightmare for me, not because I lack skill but because rangers are really crap right now in the game. Half of their skills glitch/bug out in the arena, not to mention that rangers are up against healing/running DKs, SWs with insane elemental damage that no one has protection against, so many players abusing bugs, etc. So before you insult anyone, I’d like to see you do better, given the circumstances.

And let’s not forget that you’re argument is wrong before you even start to make it, because @trakilaki literally created the wiki for DSO from the ground up and has done countless other things with regards to this game, so I think if anyone has the right to speak about PvP, then he does...

Oh, and before you talk about skill in PvP, may I kindly remind you that you’re one of those runners/healers in the arena as we can all see from your videos (which takes no skill, even a five year old could do it), so you may continue doing that rather than coming onto this forum calling others noobs.

Based on your knowledge and processing power you should not just talk about PvP but you should not talk about the entire game at all :)
While you will be running 5 hours per match for a single victory and stats ... I will be collecting rewards :)
Your stats will be reset every month but my rewards will stay forever :)
He who won the title is the best ... not he who scored more goals :)
    Play smart not hard ;)

    Notice
Check the pvp solo fights at grimmag and see how possible is a mage have 1000 wins and 8 and 7 lose ...
also check if someone find this at the other clases ...
    strange,,

Btw the pvp is big dissapointing ...as @piteris2 says even if we have the top ranger is only for farm ..for pvp is total crap with many bugs( lost jump/missing hits/bladedance often keep me back ) and a big animation at his stuns

If someone leaves during a PvP fight such as a 1v1, doesn’t the system count that as a draw? Or is it counted as a loss? Because I sometimes see that my opponent has disconnected before the end of the match...

It doesn't count the match at all. You don't get honor, but you don't get a loss, nor a win, nor a draw - nothing at all.
Btw... you "draw" a duel when opponent doesn't arrive and you wait for long enough a time. However... that isn't counted as a "draw" in the stats as well.

    And regarding these:
The first thing you should check in case of those people is their level. Most of them are low level, where they wreck havoc AND if they use any cheats, odds are they will never be recorded... and even if they were, odds are nothing is going to happen.
And yes, they are such people on all the class leaderboards. Not necessarily in the top 10, probably since most of them don't want to attract attention. And of course they're not all the cheaters. Some might lose a few more times for this or that reason (a major reason are other cheaters), and some are knocking down their KDR and ELO position intentionally.

Then that explains why I see so many people doing this. For example, say if I entered a 1v1 and was doing really bad/my opponent was much better than me. So I leave and the match is not counted as either a loss or draw; in other words it is as if the match never existed. So that could explain how some players have such high KD ratios...
    Just a thought.

Sounds to me that is a bug and leaving to not have your death counted is a SERIOUS BUG EXPLOIT. And I would say its on the level of or greater than the exploit of the Pinata bug.

Seriously. Leaving the fight because your loosing and you know it won't count against you.... well that's just plain and simple CHEATING.

Yes I agree and I’ve been seeing people do it for years now, but I never understood why until now (silly me :D). I always gave them the benefit of the doubt, thinking that they were lagging or something was wrong with their internet connection, etc. I guess something far more nefarious was going on the whole time...

what of those who get disconnected unintentionally?
How does having a low death count benefit you?

Them having a low death count does not benifit me at all. Nor does it benefit anyone else except them who have a cheated rank due to doing it.

Those who inadvertantly get disconnected are not who we are talking about. Those get disconnected whether they are losing OR winning, thus it'll even out on the scores. Nebula's don't happen because one is losing.

He was asking whether leaving (ergo KDR) benefits those who leave.

And the answer is no, it doesn't. The only thing they can do with bigger KDR is bragging.

Leaderboard rank is calculated by honor points accumulated, and since you don't lose them by losing (but rather gain), leaving is simply losing their time spent fighting.

I personally leave sometimes (albeit really rarely, maybe one time in the last month) when it keeps matching me with the same person, who is exploiting.

  16. sargon234

    sargon234 Commander of the Forum

yes, leaving is entirely stupid, it's pointless
Besides, why even care about KDR if you don't even get benefits from it?
