[Overview] Canon: Certain quests (legit) entails the advent of the birth of the Gods and the downfall of Atlantis but without extended content. This thread is work of fiction (some of which are derived from the game's background story--which is insufficient) entirely dedicated to provide entertainment.

The Primordials, the Gods, the Dragon, the Betrayal are part of Drakensang's Backstory, the (names, certain events) rest are used fictitiously. Sources are given for the benefit of evidence.

    Laud, hour of the Wolf.
2nd Moon, Day of Rest of the Waning Crescent, 1230.
4 Decades since his Kind was at war with the Anderworld.

    The Ranger
    awoke slowly.
His Elf, overcautious as ever had awoken him. There was warmth under the moonlight--an eerie, familiar sensation. They had laid camp on the Halls of the Dead ever since its Discovery. Fog and the stench of Death radiates the barren place and was always cold not as Bitter as the Norse Winter but cold nonetheless.

Must be Mortis taking a piss

    Genesis-Chap 1. The Primordials

Long before men drove their swords to one another, before the dead rose from their graves. The Earth was formless, desolate and devoid of life. It serves as a dwelling place of two immortals: Vaatu, the Masculine Primordial Aspect of Death and Darkness; Raava, the Feminine Primordial Aspect of Life and Light.

In the beginning they were one. Born out of nothing and were the beginning of everything but when Raava, the feminine Primordial escaped their Union, it bore Chaos a rift that tore space and disrupted time. From it, the Anderdwelt was born.

For tens of thousands of years, Raava battles Vaatu's desire to consummate their existence. Their struggle forged the very Earth. Vaatu's fiery blood scourged the lands to what is now--Earth; Raava's tears had engulf the World to what is now--Oceans.

But when the raging Ocean that covered everything nearly drowned Raava, Vaatu was able to plant his seed and ended their strife. Raava gave birth to the Gods:

    • Agathon- the first born manifests the Primordial's essences; bearer of Life and Existence. The Humans reveres him as the Creator. The Chief Deity of the Country of Duria: The Order of Agathon.
    • Ankheia-the Goddess of Destiny predestines of what is to come; she is the Goddess who judges upon the Fallen Heroes upon their very deaths on whether they worthy to enter the World Heart.
    • Oceanus-the God of the Sea; born from Raava's Tears.
The Chief Deity of the Country of Atlantis, home of the Atlanteneans. Upon his birth, part of his essence separated and became the Titan, Gorga
    • Frygon-the God of Fire and Craftmanship; fashioned from the fiery blood of Vaatu.
The Chief Deity of the Country of Andrakasch, land of the Dwarves.
    • Baelor-the God of Strife and War; materialized from Vaatu's desire and Raava's persistence.
    • Artaya-the Goddess of Nature and of the Hunt; essence of birth and the Primordial's passion. The Chief Deity of the non-human creatures of Duria.
    • Hjal-the God of Gelid and Winter; essence of the Primordial's frigid indifference. The Chief Deity of the abandoned religion of the Norsemen upon the death of its High Priest, Sigrismar Frostclaw.
    • Mortis-the God of Death and the Dead; signifies the Primordial's reality. Ruler of the Underworld, the land of dead. He who created the Dragon.
Light cannot exist without Darkness nor Death without Life. One cannot destroy the other. Their essences manifested on their Children, draining their existence and their immortality.

And as they depart, the Primordial's essences became the World Heart embedded beneath the very earth.

Thanks for the read. Unfortunately the apocalypse has already come too soon.

You should make a fan page/site just for your own ramblings.

I hate when conflicts in the forum go unexplained. I'll assume line one was the edit after original post and Mal moved your thread? IDK but would love to have a giggle since the scenario and reaction seems overly dramatic, much more so than the original post.

Sorry to hear about your leave, yeomanry, but I really like where you were going with your post.

I would support a Drakensang Online fan fiction site where people can post their family-friendly lore and their after-dark fantasies without worrying about censorship.

Couldn't you come up with unique names instead of borrowing them from other fantasy worlds (by this I mean Vaatu and Raava)? Or did you just make up this cliche little story because something happened to your original post? I'm a bit confused what happened here...

Edit: I appreciate your hard work though. Rarely we see posts like this on the forums.

Genesis-Chapter 2: The Creation of Dracania

Agathon, the precursor amongst the Gods, he who forebears the Primordial's essence wanted to cast order on the chaotic lands. He then asks her brothers and sisters to shape the Earth to their desire.
    ____
    Duria, the Western Continent.

Baelor and Artaya forged the Western Contient of Duria from the remains of their Father. Ashraya groomed the land of vegetation, bloomed with delicate creation of flowers and trees alike in a perfect manner.

Yet Baelor saw nothing but perfection and sowed discord. He struck the Heart of the Continent by his mighty Fists so strong that it shook the ground and paved the mountainous regions on the west and sprouted rivers that flows from Willuxshire to Grimford and to the coasts of Tegan. With it emerge the Stags, Boars, Hounds and creatures that prey upon one another and Artaya's creation.

    ___
    Norselands, the Northern Winter

East of North lies another residue of their Father and had attracted Hjal and Frygon. As their siblings' creation seeps to their desired land, Hjal gave no bidding nor any desire to create any good and choose to plague the land of never ending Cold and Winter.

Frygon claims Hjal's work as despicable yet Agathon presides that Hjal has the right to forge the land to his desire. So Frygon gave the Gift of Fire and Warmth to all of Creation to fight the bitterness of the Gods and of all the Creation.
    ___
    Atlantis, the sunken Continent.

On the South, Oceanus proclaimed dominion of the Seas and procured the land of Atlantis, home of the indigenous majestic Atlanteneans whom he fashioned without blemish unlike all of his siblings' work. He blessed them with the Will of Innovation and Grandeur for them to prosper above all else and foretold that their children would mount temples in his honour.

Yet Ankheia disapproved. Perfection should never be achieved by mere beings for they themselves, the Gods are the only ones who are perfect. She then foretolds that the Atlanteneans would prosper yet would fall in a single day by the hands of another creation who are destined to rule over all of Creation.
    ___
Underdwelt, the Land of the Dead.

Mortis felt no remorse on creating anything and despised the idea of sharing; manifesting their power but to themselves. This angered Agathon and banished Mortis to Crevices of the Earth to rule a World separated from the surface where he would watch over the prosperity of each of the Creations. Yet the Creation is never perfect.

    Artaya
asserted Excellence that all of Creation will bid to Life and will Prosper.

Ankheia folded that all of Creation shall meet their demise and eventual Death so none would ever live forever.

Baelor prompted in arbitration that the Creation will bid to life yet need to strive against eventual death.

Hjal in resentment poured that Strife would be a stern path to tread

Frygon offered Hope and Hearthly fire to light the way for their children

Oceanus presented the flair talents for all of the Creatures to wield

And thus Agathon breathe Life upon all of the Creation.
