Weak Ranger?

I'm a lvl 26 ranger and like soloing PvE. I tend to rely on essences quite a bit in my lvl 26-27 quests; I've also found (in these forums) 1 or 2 other ranger stats listed, ie, lower-level rangers but with higher stats. Bottom line: I think my character is weak for lvl 26. My equipment - pinks and blues - is mostly leveled at 26s (some 25s). Main stats are...

Base damage: 125-150
Attacks/second: 1.00
HP: 1356
Armor: 985
Block rate/amount: 211/211
Critical hit rate/damage: 398/226%
Resistances: 179

Should be much higher, right? Best way is with gems?

 

Personally, I wouldn't worry at all about your Toon at this level. I would regard everything you equip as throwaway. Green essence your way through the quest line and work on your suriveability by kiting. Working on your skills, kiting, and luring are all doable. All of your stats are in the gutter but it shouldn't prevent you from just replacing gear as you go all the way up to Hognis Mines. Go pink as you find gear and don't even bother crafting, upgrading or adding gem slots ....unless you add a slot to a weapon. Amass as much gold as you can along the way. At about that point, you'll have a bit rougher time going full solo unless you make a concerted effort to bring up your health points and damage. If your goal is to low level PVP, then you need an entirely different strategy. For classic solo PVE, I simply wouldnt even bother to worry about a dang thing other than going pink and plodding along the quest lines. You'll see posts were people prefer to farm and slowly bake their toons. I think that is as boring as mopping floors. Just zoom up and then replace your gear in PW and Events.

 

All stats in the gutter? That bad? Seems I have my work cut out for me. I have been doing kiting and luring ("fishing" I usually call the latter), but good drops are very infrequent. Anyways, ty 4 responding.

 

I would suggest that you spend little more time in prision of soul / liars lair to farm better item. PvE is max easy play so to use ess = weak character.

Base: 190-210
HP: 1680
Armor: 810
B rate: 325
B amount: 230

and that is level 22 with much room for upgrade
