Is that fair? if dont know where to look ... look at my group member sw how many points have because he stuns the enemy ... hmmm is this EDIT fair??? after the last patch, the pvp part of the game sucks, i have a warrior centurion, and i get in pvp only with high ranked players ... and this "thing" with points for stuning the enemys is EDIT because only the sw have a skill that stuns the enemys all the time ... if the sw have 2.20-2.50 attack speed he stuns the enemys all the time. Think better this pvp part.

 

i know im a ranger and it bugs me too how sw get more points , even if i had more kills and less deaths, fair ? its far from that

 

I have a DK, and i routinely higher scores in that stun/help category than SW. DK's have 2 and potentially 3 stun/help skills.

To get more points in stun/help as a Ranger, I think you need to connect more with your net, bird and walking tree. My guess is that if all you do is shoot, the computer probably treats that as if you're basically playing for yourself and not the team, and you don't get points.

 

No matter how hard u try as ranger or dk u can even defeat xx players more then sw, u will never beat it as long as it use stun
skills .I don't think this fair this should be suggested to devs ,reworked .

 

This seems to be more of a playstyle issue, not a character class issue. I routinely see rangers and dks outpoint sws, and vice versa.

 

Well, its not about style playing!

If u save all ur results on pvp like im doing , ull see that sw are always the best players in most of results but the ones we have that 2/3 years players of the game on the match or those we know spent too much money !

1 - SW are by far in advantage because they have that ice stuff , and when they use that , the range of players they can stun is bigger than the range of what dk and rangers can do. Why ? The ice thing works in this way:

Also they dont have to wait when they gonna activate the ice like a ranger for instance. A ranger to get a player with his net mus have the enemy stopped, a sw dont need it. The range to stuck the enemy is by far bigger than compared with dk and rangers. I cant say about SM.

2 - Another advantage i see on SW is that they tele easily than all the other players skills. And the prove that the tele is easy for them is that a lot of them have it on right click. If i use my jump skill on right click with my ranger lol will be a joke because the ranger gets useless in the moment u press to jump , than looks like there is a "second" stucked in the position he is , than he moves to the other position (the jump), than another stuck in the position. In this time im frozen (lmao)

3 - If a ranger use his wolves he become useless (there is no concentration). SWs can call the guardian and at the same time use the ice thing that freeze the enemy.

So a SW with 2.0+ speed atack is mostly the winner , unless ur a big tank , no matter the class of ur char.

 

All classes have advantages and disadvantages over other classes. An SW's mobility and support skills far outshine the other 3 classes, but that doesn't make it unfair. These advantages are to counter the fact that they have a tougher time building armor and HP if they want to keep their damage high. They were designed this way and it works very well for those that know how to take advantage of the design.

As far as them getting points for it in PVP; I often grimace when I see the point tallies and my dmg/kills/deaths is over ridden by their skill abilities. But, not gonna moan about it as they are often the ones that keep the 15k HP DK from getting away from me so I can land that higher damage. Or, they have frozen someone and given me an opportunity to land a precision shot that otherwise would have been difficult to land. We all take advantage of their crowd control skills and as far as PVP points I think they get what they deserve.

 

Maybe u are right but Sw gain more points than other class when it knows how to take advantage of its skills ,this how that class have been build since the beginning of the game .

'Some class is easier in PvP than others, blah, blah, blah. It's so UNFAIR.'
Translation: 'I keep getting beat up by _______, and don't know what to do about it. I'm special. Prove to me I'm special. FIX THEM.'

If you look at the leader boards for each PvP arena, you find DK's, SW's, and Rangers in the top 100's. There are Marshals in all classes. If it is so tough and unfair, how did that happen? Could it be that some Champions work their behinds off to get skills and equipment?

Or better yet, why aren't you doing what they did to get there?

 

The thing is sw have that Lightning Chain that stuns enemys all the time, his freezing abilities are instantly, every common abilities that he use wont take from hes mana or the mana gets regenerated ; rangers use concentration when shot his green arrow, if i summon the bird of pray and the adversary is near me and he starts run my bird cant catch him, if i use net, i need concentration if i want to jump i need concentration ... etc.
Whos playing with rangers have nervs of steel. i have ranger sw and warrior ... dwarf lvl 18 for pvp ... by far the warrior is for pve and sw is for pvp ... ranger is for who knows ....
The idea is that they should do something with that lighting chain ... dont even use mana when shots. Should be there in talent tree or pvp tree a thing that u have to choose from, lighting chain use mana or not

 

yeah yeah another one of this threads... SW is OP cause i play RA oh wait DK is OP cause i play SW no no sorry RA is OP cause i play DK. Yes i play all of the mentioned classes they are all ardent KOTO and i can say SW need the best gear to do what the others do with crappy ones. Sorry but if i do 2 times more dmg that your ranger then i well earned more points. I love playing my ranger too it feels like im going hunting in pvp and i never had problems with points in pvp. I suppose you will need to learn to play as a team player help your fellow DK or SM bring the flag home, dont just go random killing, or do if you dont need the points.

 

Well guys there is point why this thread is coming back on and on ,Sw is Favored by system when it comes to final battle points
this should be changed . Check this out ,unfortunately u have to go thru whole video to see how elo works when allocating battle points

 

I'm a sw and I constantly get beat up in pvp - I don't blame the game or think other classes are better. The other classes may have some advantages but the fact is, I just have to get better and learn to use my skills better and overcome my weaknesses. Don't blame others for your shortcomings - work at it and get better.

 

yes sw are op... they have a lot of armour and hp^^ of course they can regenerate they hp too... not only that, they even have the fastest weapons too. I vote for banning this EDIT op class. Lets just all of us play DKs.
