when i group in pvp it seems harder to kill people then when i solo.and they kill me easier.
you know how they scale mobs to ur lvl when ur in dungeons?
seems the same happens in pvp.in group only
    when i solo,im top 3,and seems normal.
    but groups is very different.
    whats going on here?
and will this effect guild wars?
I've been noticing this for months now.
please, only people who are experiencing the same thing need reply.
    thank you.

In PvE, the group size effects the number of minions, their effective hp and armor too. The bigger the group, the tougher the haul, especially for groups of 4 and 5. The work is still shared, so the damage needed per person should be only a little more, and there can be a huge + from effective teamwork, using stuns, buffs, essences, and skills wisely.

In PvP, the groups may be evenly matched; there may be fewer easy targets to push over.
Some matches have favorites, or slightly favorites; one team has a disadvantage going in.
These matches give you many more options than PvE as to location and enemy. They also give you a chance to buck the odds and beat a supposedly better team.
Many players bypass the win/loss record entirely, and just go for points or personal advancement, or just have fun with it.
Guild Wars are sure to have uneven matches, but should be new enough to entertain the players. Hopefully the rewards with justify the costs.

If your grouped up and in a wilderness the group or no group matters not. When you que up for a match the group is compared to the available players. If your weak then groups are not good. On the other side if your strong then groups are good due to the average strength of the group is lower than you are.

Well, for one thing, in a dungeon the HP and armor of mobs increase with the group's size, as it's already been mentioned. In PvP, I'm pretty certain nobody gets anything extra right off the bat just for playing in a larger group. What you're experiencing is most probably the issue of imbalance of forces that are clashing. In 1v1, the outcome of your arena matches depends on you and your opponent. In 3v3 and higher, it's not like that anymore, as more factors add in (e.g. one good player could be swamped by 3 individually weaker ones, but whom together can defeat the former, or one of your teammates could get inactive in the midst of battle, or part of the group is weak and it leaves the weight for the minority of stronger players, and so on... with 5v5 or 6v6, there are even more factors to take into account, as it's not just a "just kill 'em all" policy anymore).
