Without doubt, Ghob and BP are gigling at me:).

(please note the numbers below represent a confused and likely errant memory from way back)
1) As I recall, my first experience with Ghob and his wares, the only items I could use cost 2000 Draken. I owned 1000 +/-.
2) Not a problem, I saved all my Draken for six more months and sure enough, Mr Handsome himself showed up with a bag of new goodies. However, the only thing I could use cost 3000 Draken. I owned 2000 Draken.
3) Six months later and only the numbers have changed, me 3000, cost 4000.
4) Again, grin and bear it. I now have 4000+ Draken and for the past month have been licking my lips and grinning uncontrollably.
5) I now hear rumors of his retirement.
6) There's times that it can be very difficult to be a mild mannered good guy.

JT, 2 good things to think about. Obviously you managed to work around not having the Draken amount you needed at the time he showed up and as a result your balance has grown. Second, you can always make your draken balance grow faster. You mentioned a years worth of chasing gnob. 1 year of nothing other than moon events would give you near 8k.

A third I should mention as I know others in the same boat. My balance is extreme now because Gnob offers nothing else for me to purchase. At least you have something to look forward to with him.

5a) It has long been a fallacy of mine to run my mouth prior to ascertaining the facts. My apologies and thanks for your time spent in setting me straight.
As noted, my memory of past Ghob visits is a bit fuzzy. I doubt seriously that it was a singular item that rose in cost but possibly had to do with new items introduced. Also, and to be fair, I wasn't clear about this, the last items that I couldn't afford, I had no use for anyway. Otherwise the time line and cost are factual (or pretty close)....to the best of my memory .

I'm not a fan of, and as such, seldom participate in the Moon events. My past aggravation's and failings are, admittedly, primarily a byproduct of my playing habits. My post was meant to be factual,as best I remember, but also lighthearted. You should know, you are the ringleader in keeping these forums both fun and fruitful. Thanks

 

Of course my friend, I read it with those glasses on. It's nice when you can get a sense of a person by their previous posts and read in their voice and demeanor from the start.

 

i take my DK in for full moon for all of the draken since full moon is realm frag cheap for my dk and my dwarf in for new moon for as much as i can.

I've mentioned it before but i am building up draken in case the level 50 expansion brings something useful.

 

Dont agree on math. Best math is a about 1k draken per month for both event. So six month in his case will be about 6k of drakens and he will not have problem with gnob.

 

I believe BigPapa was speaking annually, not monthly. And I also believe after the the number of times it would take to get the 6k draken from those 2 events, boredom would set in and the thought of "that's enough draken, I'm over these moon events" would set in

 

Ya, wasn't shooting for accurate math there, just using it as a reference for the point and did simple "If i finished event and killed the boss" math. It would likely be higher than I mentioned if you got some extra kills or a bonus drop. But, glad you understood what the intent was.
