Have a Great Summer Everyone!!!

What summer dude? It is spring over here.

 

Its not summer, but summer break on the american college academic calendar typically runs from about the first week of may until around labor day weekend in the USA.

 

Have a great summer? it's very evident that you do not reside in my home state of Florida. You get dressed in the morning, brace yourself, and with nerves of steel try to make it from the air conditioned house to the air conditioned car... without the familiar heat stroke. Get out of the air conditioned car and scramble to make to your air conditioned office alive. In the afternoon, when it's really boiling, repeat procedure, only in reverse. Our only summertime relief is the occasional hurricane. The bright side of this is that the inferno only lasts 8 or 9 months with the rest of the year semi-bearable.

 

I'm in the "Show Me State" of Misery... errrr, I mean Missouri. I heard someone describe summer temperatures here averaging in the high 70s... I about choked on my drink. It regularly tops out over 90 with humidities of 80%+.

 

Be advised to bring your jacket or at least a hoodie if you plan to visit San Fransisco this summer. Your shorts and t-shirts won't keep you warm!

 

Damn here we have weird timings. Here the summer break is in summer and the winter break is in winter ... go figure it out.
