about the event?

I don't know if I should even post this here.. (probably not..) and sorry if I shouldn't post it here..

So I'm playing with my friend.. and it started happening since yesterday..
we're half way through the mine of the current event and I've found 6 pickaxes.. my friend has found more than 40..

How does that thing work.. ? Cause I find it kinda unfair.. lol

 

Luck (And PRNGs) are fickle things. I've had times where I've had 15 drop from a small mob (3x5) and then others, I've gone 2-3 runs without seeing one. That is why I am generally rather thrifty with my picks in case I hit a dry spell. What really matters is the burners for the challenges.

 

Then I guess I'll have to deal with it..
I always had bad luck in mmo but it's really annoying..

there are options like open only geode-s that have a minion that way you need only 10 per run if playing solo if you are in a group open only 5 if you are with 2 players so take turns with opening geode-s.
kill everything in the map that drops pickaxes. Always have entry maps in stock so when a friends says he is in a map with julov ,and is inviting help you can jump in to assist and pickup an easy 15 axes.
Do the same when you enter the map take the shortest route to julov if he is there ,invite friends to join, then they will do the same to you when they have julov.
