Eternal Grove Multiplayer Bug

I go into Eternal Grove with my friends and they not appear, we try to re enter and refresh but still no use, can anyone fix this bug?

 

Eternal Grove is a solo map. Apparently this is by design and not a bug. A long time ago, people were reporting they could get in with a group but I've never seen a screen shot proving this urban legend. Solo this map and it's quest line. It's a fun map with a challenging boss. Frankly there are only two reasons to group on this map: (1) grind for unique boss bow and melt it for glyphs, and (2) group with gapper for low level cape questing. Both reasons listed are iffy. Just enjoy the game as it was designed.

 

Yup totally went with a group (b4 cot swap) I don't go there it was a whim and didn't go after it solo nor grouped so dk rly.

 

Well, like the majority of folks, you will go back there at some point. The main reason being that you need Cape fragments in there.

 

So it has to be solo? I never seen that thing here since I still newbie, but can I need to farm that boss with my lilttle brother, his lvl is 21 so he can't go there by himself, I just want to help him

 

No work around I'm aware of WillKill. Your little brother is just going to need to do the quest solo. Even with relatively weak toons, Eternal Grove is completely manageable. You just need to lure smaller mob waves. The only thing that may be an issue for a super weak toon is that the Tree Ents throw down a traveling damage attack that will seek you out. Look, everyone has to traverse that region at some point if they wish to progress their Achievement Rank and their Cape Quest series. If neither of those things interest you, skip Eternal Grove.

My advice, let him skip it temporarily and then swing back around to it once he has opened up Resistance Command Center. He'll be far more durable at that point and will enjoy Eternal Grove.

As a side note, Eternal Grove was added long after level 1-30 were introduced. In fact, it happened after the Atlantis expansion so many players have skipped this quest line. You only need it frankly if you are building your Cape Quest series.

 

I have done this map countless times in a group. We farmed if for the staff for someone. I have remembered this map from before PW Do not remember hard mode for the bear but then again I never did any hard mode. I got to level 26 and PW was interposed and lost the ability to even do hard versions any more.

 

Sorry, I think you are confused. The map always had the Bear boss and never had a selection for Normal or Hard. Perhaps you are thinking of a different map.

 

I have gone to Eternal Grove with a group and we managed to kill the Bear easily.
So, it is not a *SOLO* map.

 

I believe you, dude. I once went to fight Khalys and she requested that we wrestle in raspberry flavoured jelly instead. Unfortunately, I forgot to screenshot it. Did you remember to screenshot your {cough}dream{cough} group fight in Eternal Grove?

 

I said I do not remember if the bear had a hard mode or not. Dungeons had two setting when I started. Grimmerstone had normal and hard catacombs where the same. I do remember Prison of Souls having hard mode but Eternal Grove I do not. When they first started PW all the hard mode dungeons where removed. When I say bear hard mode that means when you entered into Eternal Grove you would select normal or hard. It would look just like what Herald, Sigris, and Gorga look now.

Thank you Cdeepel for the screen shot. This now has my priority attention and I tend to obsess on problem solving.

I have no explanation to offer as to how you can group. I did notice you are on Agathon and I am on Tegan. It also looks like you show your date/release in the bottom left of your screen. I'll try to recreate this a bit later today by doing what you show here, a level 40 grouped with a level 20 where the 40 has the Star.

As far as Sirmadman in Raspberry Jelly, I'm pretty sure that is a DragonKnight Calender being issued in 2016. ....similar to those fireman calendars. So you'll need to wait for that picture.

 

I have a few suggestions. Have the group leader zone in from slifmoor and then invite the other members 1 by 1 and have them zone in..

If that does not work have the leader make the group while he is the only one in the zone.

 

I haven't done anything fancy to get the group into this map. I have entered numerous times to this map with different people in different groups either through the map entrance or by teleporting from the town.

I am surprised to hear that some of you cannot get a group into this map. Perhaps it is a bug that exists on a particular server? or for characters that were created long ago? Because all my characters are newly created (only few months ago)

 

Test yesterday on Tegan with mixed levels. It still does not work on Tegan. I would love to know if other Tegan users can replicate cdeepal's results.

 

Also on Tegan here. I have not ever managed to get into Grove in a group, and this goes back at least a year and a half to when I started playing.

 

I'm pretty sure it's a bug, i've gone in with groups before too no problems for me, although i do reccomend farming solo anyway because it effects your drop rate especialy in the Wilderz Cavernz.

 

Interesting. I just helped someone in there tonight and there was no problem. Maybe what you all are saying about it being server specific has some truth to it after all.

 

There should not be any problems doing group farming any where in the game, big point have in no way said any where is restricted to solo farming only as far as i know, we are all free to join groups wherever we wish, so if it doesn't work then obviously a bug, events get the same bug sometimes.
