I was thinking something a little nicer looking and without animal parts.

 

Coral Arrow of The Deep dropped in temple sector as I was questing and Eye of medusa durring a farming run for more treasures of the deep (after 20ish runs)

I have the level 25 one dropped from the Wilderz Caverns, it's an amazing bow for farming so keep it, it cuts down on your farming time by... 10 mins id say.

Interesting, but with crit being nerfed, not useful for many people....

 

I figured there had to be a unique in there, otherwise it wouldn't be such a pain to get in. But like what Nova said, not worth farming for given the nerf.

 

A lot of our favorite farming areas have been nerfed so time to change where we go IF there is any decent farming areas any more...

 

I'd heard that you could get those uniques in the PWs, but it is good to finally see photographic proof... guess there really is no reason to farm ing Lor'Tac now.

 

I've also gotten lvl40 yachak pieces in lvl50 PW areas.

 

Unfortunately, you can also get those from Balor too... I would have been ecstatic if they made those scaleable and I had gotten a LVL 50 piece from him instead of a LVL 40 pair of boots that needed to be melted.

 

That would be nice, but at least those who have not gotten the set still have a chance even if they decide to level to 50.

 

I would much rather replace it with something that is equally as useful, but appropriately leveled.
Consider this:
On my DK, I have a level 47 set.
Total, it gives 1388 armor, 1706 HP, +25 damage, 10% increased Crit, and 10% travel speed. To get this from a set of legendaries, you would have to find equivalent stats using only 12 lines and the base armor of a pair of boots and gloves.
It would look something like this:
1x line of +25 damage (or more)
2x lines of travel speed (5% or more each)
1x line of crit hit rate (180-250 to compensate for the Crit that you gain from 10%)
This leaves only 8 lines to make the armor and HP.
1388 armor-206 armor (total armor of LVL 50 gloves/boots)=1182 armor
3x lines of armor (394 or more each... don't even think armor lines go this high on boots/gloves)
5x lines of HP (341 or more each... again, I don't know if HP lines go this high on gloves/boots, even at 50)

In conclusion, right now Keens (and likely Roshan's, Yachak's and Spark's) are irreplaceable when it comes to well rounded defense.

EDIT:
Apparently, HP lines do get that high (found a 377 on a LVL 49) but I'm still looking for armor lines that could work.

 

This is where jester gems can make a world of difference.I have the gear to be much more efficient than keens in all departments with only 3 items(from pre155 lvl45 items), but to include the travel speed without compromising on hp/armour I would need a few basic jester gems. Unfortunately you have to sell your house to match upto bigpoint pricing strategies and drop rates(of jester gems) in countries like india even if you are above average income.

P.S. I don't have much idea of the economies of other nations.

 

Uh, but what about the torso for that set? It can't be dropped in PWs if they differ according to what temple they're found near, no?

What strategy did you use? 2 man team, 2H dk and ranger, working clockwise or something to control the bombs?

 

He has incredible damage. I just went with 5x Dark with Blade Dance with cooldown and a decent shield. Using Thicket of Thorns with explosion and Blade Dancing through all of the mobs after the meteor, I was able to kill most of the spiders with 1 Precision while resetting my Thicket for the next meteor. The explosions do decent damage to Arachna and give me plenty of healing spheres. People may not like 5x Dark Set, but I find it pretty useful in Fatal when I jump to further reduce damage.
