Post r155 Badges of Honor - What to spend it on?

With the changes after r155, I now am sitting on a few million badges of honor, and really not sure what to spend it on. u.u

Personally, I favor 2h's for ess saving purposes, and you can't ever have a 2h that's too OP, so more chances at getting a better one is awesome. However, the cost of a 2h is 160k badges, vs. 120k for a 1h weapon. And at the end of the day, they're both worth the same if you throw them in the furnace. Speaking of which, getting something ordinary like a necklace or boots would actually get you (most likely, unfortunately) more bang for your buck, since 99.99% of items are crap that end up in the furnace anyways.

So... what are your thoughts on what to buy?

I'd still say the 2H. Sure, you may not get that much extra glyphs, but 8400 isn't that much. On the other hand, if you buy boots, you definitely won't even have a chance at finding an OP 2H from that shop. You could farm the difference in glyphs in as little as 20-30 min in Map2 (maybe as much as an hour or two depending on just how many badges we are talking about), but finding/crafting that many legendary 2h would take significantly longer.

So, my vote... 2H weapons all the way with maybe a handful of 1H thrown in for good luck.

 

I got stuck with over 5 Million badges of honor, and spent it all at the PVP Merchant. None of the items were any better than my level 48 and level 49 Spell Weaver uniques. A few were about as good, just with slightly different stats. Most got melted.

Only 1 other member of our guild reported getting better items from the vendor. He is a high-dollar player with truly awesome gear. Others reported results similar to mine. IMHO, better weapons are more unlikely to drop in the new maps, but they also cost the most at the pvp merchant.

If I had the chance to do it over, I would buy the cheapest items for melt. What you do depends on your situation.

I would rather see BigPoint just apply the badges to new Honor levels, but that is fantasy, even in a fantasy world.

 

I always feel reluctant to admit it, but I forgot how to play a 1h mage. Sounds funny, I know, but I used completely different play styles. XD

Well, I guess if you have enough Badges to spend, the gop cost would actually start to make a difference, whereas if you just a few hundred thousand, probably wouldn't notice it at all.
