    Heredur

History tells us that Heredur united the Continent and crowned himself as the first Emperor of Duria. His empire stretched from the Pilgrim's Path of Grimmagstone to the coasts of Tegan where he tasked Tegan, Grand Marshal of the Order of the Dragonknights to erect a Fotress that guards the evil the lies behind the accursed Sanctuary and built the Council of Spellweavers to ward off Evil that might threaten his Empire. Heredur also founded the Order of Agathon as the official religion of the State. The people built him a bust in his honour in the moated Fortress of Kingshill.

Six centuries he slept on the Crypt of Kings where his kinsmen bearing his name are buried. He lies on a Sarcophagus built in his Image. With him was his sword the Scapanor, the symbol that binds the Royal Family and the Church of Agathon.

It was until Prince Aldred of House Heredur heir to the throne, only begotten son of King Harold of House Heredur and Protector of the Realm went missing. Ruthina Flint, his colleague and his alleged lover went missing on the same day, accused of murdering Father Ignatius and conspiring to held the Prince Hostage. Benjamin, an acolyte and a squire of the murdered Priest assures the woman's innocence. By him it is now known Ruthina follwed the Prince to the Crypt where he was seduced by Khalys, Priestess of the Nefertarti cult to take the Scapanor from the grave.

Ruthina managed to leave trails for the Squire but was too late to stop the Blasphemy. Khalys, with her Andermagic woke the King from the Dead. He now guards the Crypt with a Mighty Morning Star, attacking any hero who dares to disturbs the peace of the Dead.

Also, they replicated his image in a much miniature scale that even the Gods find it both tragic and hilarious.
    _______
    Grimmag

Grimmag is amongst the first Spellweavers when the Dragon waged War against whole of Creation. It is they who aided the Gods to seal away the Dragon in the Anderworld and the evil it procured in the Circle of the First Spellweavers. His deeds and legacy became part of the History of Duria. He rests on Grimmagstone built in his honour northwest of Grimford.

During the reign of King Harold of House Heredur when Dragon waged War on the Mortal from the Anderworld. The Nefertarti Cultists opened a portal in his grave and rose the dead within it but was closed soon afterwards with the help of Ammon.

In the surface, where a castle is built above his grave remains the sole path towards Grimford when both the Pilgrim's Path and the Flying Island Fotress was overrun. The Veiled Cultists stole Grimmag's Staff and woke him from the Dead he guards the outskirts of the City and conjures bolts of Lightning to those who dare to tread on the Path. Heroes who stumbles on such Sacrilege are accompanied by Master Vithrandir.

The Cultists also managed to stole a crystal which contain his memories and of ancient magic taught to the Spellweavers. Fortunately, Roshan Shammon from the Resistance Command Center retrieved the Relic and had returned it to where it rests.

    _____
    Werian

Grovery, a small town located in a Mountain in Slifmoor was once known for the precious metals it mined. On the far end of the region is an abandoned Monastery once home to the Order of Agathon and was the residence of its High Priest. It was abandoned for unknown reasons.

Then came the Nefertarti Cultists led by Khalys its Chief Priestess took over the Monastery mocking the religious order. It is where she led Prince Aldred whom was desperate to save the kingdom he ought to rule. He tricked the Prince into sacrificing the soul of the current High Priest in exchange for knowledge of the Future through the Nimbus Mirror in her Elysium.

What the Prince saw is uncertein. It cost him his sight for good. Ruthina Flint managed to keep track and snatched away the Prince.

It is in Werian a small chapel in the Temple of Grovery welcomes Heroes and houses its citizens is where the last they were seen. It is said the Prince ordered the town to held off until he returns.

    ______
    Agathon

Agathon is the Chief Deity of the Country of Duria. He is known as the Creator by the Order of Agathon whom was founded by King Heredur first of his name during his reign. There are few notable legends in his name, some of which tells the story of how the God battled the Herald, a dragon created in the image of the Dragon whom was sent from the Anderworld to prepare his way. The Herald intended to destroy mankind but was put to halt. Its wings was forever silenced by Agathon himself as they wrestled in the threshold between the two Worlds. For three days, none managed to injure one another until their final descent in the Anderworld.

Agathon defeated the Herald and imprisoned him in a rift that prevents entrance to the Mortal Realm. It is also said that Agathon blessed Tegan and his Order to guard the torn fabric of space. Today, the God's power is weakening as the Nefertarti Cult grew dominance.

Nonetheless, the Order remains faithful that their God continues to guide Mankind.

    _____
    Tegan

The Walls of Tegan were originally built to ward off Norsemen and their wooden horses during the reign of King Heredur. Despite of this, the raiders continued to pillage the coasts until a Truce was signed under King Harold. The two opposing parties had commissioned an alliance, mutual to a single cause against the creatures spawning all over Dracania.

King Heredur honoured Tegan, Grand Marshall of his time, a friend of the late King with a Fortress in his name built in secrecy to ensure the threat that lies underneath its Halls. Now, the Fortress along its Walls were overwhelmed by the minions from Anderworld. Dragon broods breed and burnt the Northeastern coasts, dragons took shelter on underground caverns and Cultists breaking the Gate that holds the Two Worlds.

But Alas! Ruthina rescued the Prince from Khalys and brought him to the Walls. There, the Prince rekindled the Order of Dragonknights and took their Oath. They and Heroes alike join forces as they face Mankind's nemesis, the dragon broods.

Unknown to them, they are battling one of Mankind's creation.

    ____
    Balor

There are no tales of who Balor is. His name is uncertain and is a Mystery until now.

But according to the Order of Dragonknights guarding the walls of Tegan, he is now the Master of the Herald. An arbiter who conspires with the Masters of the Anderworld and of the Dragon himself to destroy the Continental Empire.

    Balor

Balor, son of the Dragon and the Dragon Killer

    • Brother of Agathon (which makes Agathon as the son of the Dragon?)
    • It was another, Balor, the murderer of his father, who submitted to the Herald and whose wings were forever silenced - Herald
    • Scorn of the Dragon set depicts weapons as Dragonslayers
For whatever reason on why and how he sought to end the reign of the Dragon whose powers feared by the Gods themselves, the world needs it heroes.
