Monster abilities

I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this, but I've searched the forum and can't find an answer. Is there anywhere that has some sort of general list of the monsters and their abilities, etc.? For instance, Like with jitterjellies. Sometimes you can be right up against one when it dies and recieve almost no damage, other times you can be a great distance away and recieve massive damage. Is there a pattern to this? Do you get more damage if you're facing them?

It's not a major deal breaker or anything, just inquiring minds...... Just curious if something is out there.

 

Jitterjellies - thats the jellyfish in the temple sector, gorga, atlantis regions?

When they die, they send out lighnting attacks roughly at 45, 135, 225 and 315 degrees from the dead corpse. So when they die, you don't want to be at those angles. Alternatively, have high resist and good blocking shield and you should be able to shrug them off.

Yes range doesn't effect whether you get hit or not from the JJ's, unless you go outside there range of course. Whoever gets the killing blow will set the angles, call that 12 o'clock. Other strikes come out at 3, 6 and 9 o'clock. Also, doesn't matter if you are facing them or not. Just position around them on the clock.

 

Ok, that makes sense. When I'm standing beside them and receive no damage, it's because I'm between those angles. Gotcha

There is a list of abilities for champions since they are the "toughest" monsters on normal maps.
