Please help..New to game but it crashes and I cannot create a char

hi I cannot get into game, I downloaded the client it loads up I have my username in, I don't know what a ID is or I would go to the support line...I speak English...I use window 7 but its upgraded to windows 10 and I use avast as my security.... can someone please tell me how to fix this so I can get into the game please

You only need to enter the Username and Password, after that step you need to select the recommended server and press the "Play" button.

 

Also if you are getting "drakensang client cant play due to " error as your trying to log in it can be a setting under your Security and it might need to be changed in the settings


As you play the game you will find that drakensang will randomly "crash" (loading forever without it ever re connecting ) Just close out game and re log in .

I have tried that, and the game client crashes when I try to type in my pass, its frustrating I have tried clicking play on the page and it does nothing, it keeps wanting me to download the client I will try the page again, and wait

yes that is what it sounds like . something in your settings is disabling drakensang from running . Enable it and you should be good to go!. Welcome an goodluck!

 

If you still having problems try this.

I have installed Drakensang Thin client and had to run in admin mode. So after install it does not preserve that ootion. So it is still in memory. When you try to run again it crashes. So I then just restart the PC and it is solved it.

There are other ways to solve this but that is by far the easiest.

 

Everytime i start the game it says Client Version does not match server version. Help,

 

ERROR CODE 35 "client version does not match the server version"
Translation: Your computer has the old version, the internet has updated to a newer version.
Solution: Close the game ... open task manager and kill the "drakensang.exe" process. Start the game again.
This may also require: close browser, close client, delete dso temp file if necessary.

There are old forum posts on the subject, somewhere.
