Man, it would be so much easier if you group with a good tank.... He tanks and you can kill without wasting time running around

I've come up with a rather nice glyph farming tactic with a SW friend of mine.

We go to the circle where all the monsters spawn, he goes into the corner, one of those little alcoves, and I (2H DK) stand at the opening. I absorb the damage from the ranged attacks and no melee monsters make it past me without me pulling damage aggro. He then casts repeated singularities using mind control to be able to have 100% up time with that skill. He also makes good use of destruction with the cool down skill due to the high mob density so that he can spam that too every time his telaport cools down to refill his manna pool, which is fast with the singularity. All in all, we can clear the giant mob and the one or two other mini bosses that spawn (the one near the end, but not the final mini boss, and the one that seems to spawn 30% of the time at the beginning) in about 5 min or less. You average about 15K glyphs a run. It is actually faster and more efficient than old Map2 was.

Agree 100%. Many players still think DSO has destroyed easy glyph farming maps with R158, but nobody has closely observed the amount of glyphs they find in their inventory after a short run through the very first map of PW.
I feel grimmagstone is the next glyph farming campsite considering just the central spawn area in the map. An entire run till grimmag gives double the glyphs compared to Old Map 2.

Please add a good ranger to your mage-war team. You will clean the mobs 3 times faster because of double armour break from vortex + explosive shot. But it has to be a good ranger with good dmg, good technique and decent defense so he can use deadly blow for concentration regeneration and not spam green arrows like a noob.

Yea, but it is easier to find one person than to find two people willing to farm this for an extended period of time, and if one person leaves, it breaks.

Also, a 2H SM would do well too added into the team... just keep dropping tesla turrets in the singularity and machine guns firing through the mobs or a mechanical turret to drop the cool down of the rocket (and shrapnel shot from time to time) and using quick shot to regen steam as fast as possible.

When we'll be able to change server, come to heredur, I will farm with you all day XD
And yes dwarves are amazing, but I usually avoid going with them for one reason, they all setup for insane dmg but they all die so easy. Plus, all dwarves seem to pull all the mobs aggro to them, because of their insane dmg with those laser things. So they're always the first to die so they're not reliable, you have to wait for them to come back after they die.
But mages use vortex + aggro guardian which is very useful for me because I do a lot of dmg in the vortex and I can SEE where the vortex is. Meanwhile dwarves' armour break is not visible like the vortex and when there are trillions of little mobs all over the map, you don't know which have been armour broke anymore, also because the tank uses the aggro skill and the mobs have the aggro icon over their heads and it overlaps with the AB icon so it gets confusing. Maybe not all dwarves die so fast, maybe I haven't encountered good dwarves yet, or maybe I don't remember.

They are few and far between, but they do exist. If it weren't for all the time and effort I'd put into my DK, I'd jump ship to a SM as my main. Maybe if BigPapa's idea for an "Inheritance" ever gets implemented, I'll retire the the tank.

DSO rule #1; if its really good, take advantage of it while you can.
DSO rule #2; dont talk about really good things:p
DSO rule #3; see rule #1 and rule #2

So what if it's good, how do they expect us to make all those billions of glyphs anyway?
Yes it's a little better than m2 knights, but the glyph requirements are much higher, so it's not like you upgrade your items overnight, you still have to grind for years and you still need a pretty good team, since the mobs are not that easy to kill.

Really nice character you've got there (huge, huge damage ). Also, nice music ;). But, for the boss fight, why didn't you put the mana potions on the skill-bar, for easier use (especially since you didn't need all of your skills)?
