I have a few unanswered questions, since most I've found are from 2013/2014

as I've gathered, the drop rate has decreased by a lot.

What's the best way to farm andermants and gems?
Are gems and inv. expansion the best andermants investment?
What's the best way to gather xp? I was halfway in at lvl 30 with no quests to do.
Why are barely anybody speaking English?
Why do I get my EDIT kicked by the fire-ry guys @ Shran-li? Is ~50% fire resistance not enough or is my damage just poop?

Greetings, lv. 31 Pve Dragonknight @ Heredur.
    [MERGE]
Also, should I keep lockpicks for 100 lockpick chests?

@AuZor Please use "Edit" next time, posting two comments right after the other is not permitted have fun

Note: we mods cant tell our personal opinions but with more spaces, you can farm for longer periods...actually that's not an opinion.

I have not experienced a drop of drop rate, but some people says uniques are now dropping less.

I think you heard right. My opinion as well is that gems and inventory expansions would be the best investment.

Quests are a good way to get exp. Also, killing bosses like Heredur, Khalys etc. seems to give a ton of exp.

If you talking about event monsters, they are harder than normal monsters. So, you need to be better equipped to face them.

Some say drop rates have been lowered, but since so much of it relies on random generated luck it is hard to tell. Some days you get lucky and some days you don't.

Best way to farm is just that, farm your level or higher. Personally I liked Sigris and Gorga for gem and exp farming.

I also feel that inventory and gems are the best choice for ander spending.

Best way to gain exp is to farm levels above yours when you are out of quests.

Not sure how many speak english on your server, so searching for a guild might be your best bet.

As to why you get your butt kicked, could be lack of armor, lack of resist, lack of health, lack of dmg or all of the above.

The 100 lock pick chests are nice, but I've preferred the 25 pick chests myself.

Thanks for the answers, even though they were quite late. I'm now sitting @ lvl 42 with my dragonknight.

My items are still rather pathetic, since I started playing as a new player on my DK. (gold wasted on terrible crafting, bad decision making when equipping)

But my main focus right now is a nice 1-hand weapon.. I focus on being tanky, but I want to be able to deal damage as well, without relying on essences.

Should I go for maces, axes or swords?
    AS, crit and/or dmg?

PW is the fastest way to level and get anderment gems and make new friends.

Without access it might become harder.

DKs have a harder time killing fast not that they can not just harder. Mage can some times kill 20 to 30 mobs with one attack. I have maxed out at 3 destructions in a row. But lol a DK was used to hold the mob.

Fastest I can do 300 kills with mage is slightly under 40 secounds. Requires a long buildup though.

Unfortunately I won't have access to PW until I reach lvl 50...
