When trying to log onto the Teagan server, I get an error code 25: Command protocols did not match. Is that related to the known issues with the "failed to verify" error already reported?

You are playing via client ... right?
Try this method I have suggested to Draco ... it should help you.
Find the "dlcache" folder in the DSOclient and delete it (or if you want you can delete the whole DSOClient folder) and then run the game with the browser.

What a mess! Nothing I do solves the problem and I can't log in online nor offline. I send support help e-mails and get no response in my e-mail. I tried fixing the problem by following your suggestions by searching/running %LOCALAPPDATA%\Temp\DSOClient, and it says that that file does not exist.

I give up! So long Drakensang!

    Sincerely,
Robert Sager - EmeraldRoyalKnight - Tegan server.

I have run a search for DSOClient and no joy. Trying to run it through the browser doesn't do anything either. It's gonna suck if I don't get to play because I have a premium account I've paid for.

Easiest way to find the folder is to click the start button, and type "%temp%" without the quotes. The temp folder is an unindexed location meaning that normal searches won't find it or stuff inside it. Here was my method for fixing EC25 without screwing up your game files which could lead to a "Fail to verify" error.

So I never was able to find the files, but I was able to logon through the browser, and then through the online client yesterday. I tried to logon just now though, and through the client I get error code 35: "Client version doesn't match the server version," and through the browser, when I click on server, put in my UN & PW, it just goes dark for a sec and comes back to the screen. Kind of like it's refreshing, but not actually logging me in. I'm a pretty patient person, but am getting pretty frustrated with this. I'm starting to think I should just ask for my money back and see if I can find a game that works right, all the time.

    What was the problem?
64bit Java version in 32bit browser ... perhaps?

I really have no idea. I'm an average computer user, so I truthfully don't even know what your question means...lol! All I know is that I was able to get on through Foxfire, and now I'm not. I get an error code 35 through the client, and trying to go through the browser doesn't do anything. I'm kind of at my wits end now.

My PC is pretty old now, so I'm running Windows XP. The latest version of Java says I need a higher version of Windows, so I can't download it to fix the problem. Is there a way to get an older, but updated enough version of Java that WILL work?

    Try this LINK
This is the previous Java version ... Java is no longer supporting Windows XP. Open the link (it is my file uploaded 1 minute ago) and download it .
Uninstall your Java version from your PC and delete the Java folder in " C:\Users\User_Name\AppData\LocalLow\Sun " manually.
Then install the older version and in the settings prevent it to download updates automatically.
If you get notification about "new version available" don't update it.

Your file won't do anything. I downloaded it, but when I go to launch it, it brings up an Internet Explorer window, then a box asking what I want to do, so I click run, and it just goes back to the IE window, then pops the box back up again. I really appreciate your help, but I have just about had enough. All this to play some game. I have really enjoyed playing it, so much so that I've actually spent money on it, but it's looking like I'm going to have to cut my losses and see if I can find a new game. It's a pity that Big Box hasn't been more responsive to any of this. What little they have responded, has been just platitudes. Take care dude, and thanks again.

It is a compressed .rar file ... open it with WinRar, WinZip... or whatever similar app.
Inside that file is .exe file.

I just took 2 weeks off and avoided the frustration, the drama and the headaches of trying to find any of the magical cures everyone was suggesting to fix this mess. I knew that the Big Point Team would fix the problem in due time, because they don't want to lose customers..... No Players = No monetary income = End of Drakensang. Everything is working fine again on the Tegan server..... Thank you Big Point Team!
