    Hello,
As we all know ranger class is pretty much nothing in front of dwarfs and mages in terms of dps, so I wanted to know the opinion of experienced rangers on the overall setup that they feel is best for bosses.

My setup at the moment with 4 pieces of dark set + dmg torso :

Amulet : 104 dmg ( still looking for 45% crit dmg amulet from Nerfertari boss)
    Belt : 34.64% crit dmg 30 dmg
    Ring1 : 13.85% dmg 194 crit 54dmg
    Ring2 : 432 crit 9.65% crit dmg 28dmg
    Arrows : 850 crit (4x6,5% 1x8,6% saphhire)
    Quiver : 3x330+crit 14% crit dmg
    Torso : 14.56% dmg 28dmg 245armor
    Kalylin's Cloak : 154crit 10,54% crit dmg

    and my Bow: 106.15% dmg 9,53% speed ( I use 2x22 dmg 2x16 dmg + 1 flawless onyx (f2p char))

So, what do you think I should improve??

Should I farm for Ring of death from Mortis, use Witch Chaser set or the new set from new moon event??
What should be the least crit I should aim for with high crit dmg, I feel like sacrificing dmg for crit dmg is better since I hit much harder.

When I farm bosses, especially with a DK that can hold aggro, I go for the highest crit rate / crit damage setup I can find. This allows me to get the most damage per shot, so that I can conserve Essence usage. You have an excellent long bow, so that is a major plus for you when building a character (it is also the weakest part of mine).

You have a very nice setup, pretty similar to mine, you just have much better gems than me. I personally think you should farm for Kaylin's Cloak and Seal of Betrayal from Nerfertari which would boost your character's crit dmg by 20-25%.

For bosses I usually put 10 points in concentration except Arachna where I use my ring of inner fortitude for the extra conc to use blade dances and put those 10 points in hp since I have only radiant gems.

Here are my 2 setups at the moment, still looking for Seal of Betrayal from nerfertari or any items with over 35% crit dmg.

There are no glyphs in these items except for bow because all my glyphs are in my pvp equipment and I didn't want to farm gold to use them here.

    1st setup with 100 dmg Amulet :

and 2nd setup with 3x crit 1xdmg amulet:

Any suggestions?? I would like to see some more setups or playstyles that veteran rangers use.

Yeah, I've done about 15 runs on that boss for the amulet. Can't be bothered to farm the other maps just to get a coin to visit her to get nothing. My time is better spent acquiring glyphs in PW. If the developers ever get off their butts and push the button to let me buy the Dragonache amulet, that's what I'll use.

As far as advice goes, you seem to have a nice setup as well with good damage, crit, and decent crit damage. I would just farm for glyphs to level up your gear since you have achieved a strong end game setup. Of course, pumping some cash would serve you well, but I don't advise that to players with how this game is handled.

You might want to put one extra point into attack speed, or wait for Defeat the Undefeatables for the Jewel of Rage to gain that 1% attack speed to reach the 1.43 speed break point for your Green Arrows.

Plus, with Crafting 2.0 coming, 60% Crit Damage amulets will be possible, with enough time and gold.
