    There are rumors on facebook, that existing sapphires will be removed and compensated. when asked how does he know about that, the guys said 'russians', the authors of original leak.

    If thats true, it is also a game changer for me.

    Base on the lvl 55 expansion design, you can have 5 rubys and 5 speed runes on your weapon etc., so I think even you have sahhhires on your hand, it will finnally been discarded by yourself.

    I have to report a bug, i have equipped 2 Runes of Devastation from the Dark Dwarf Heist event on my quiver but after the update they are vanished!
    Other event gems have been moved properly in the slot runes, but not this two.
    Please solve this, thx.

    I saw the test server, that all inheritances objects are in%, ie so long as you do not sell my items and I melted I was dumb; Because now I have 200 million glyphs and do not know what to do ???

    TS just went down for maintenance. Only a 5 minute warning there so no time to take notes so this info will be a bit foggy o_O

    I am ready to declare the game is headed towards total chaos mode :D Why? Well, I just discovered that all of my old legendarys will be obsolete. Again Why? New enchanted gear (green, blue, etc.) all (except wpns) have 3 variable base values. These are in addition to the enchantments for the color of the gear. RH gear all have 3 base lines of dmg, hp & armor. This is in addition to the 1,2, 3,4 enchantments form green, blue, etc. My no-gem L50 dk has 11K hp and 50% armor mostly because of these :eek: Oh yeah, and they are on all the other gear also. I only have 2 green rings and they have base hp, resistance and forgot what the 3rd one was.. think it was another dmg line... hey, I only got out of bed an hour ago, just 2 double espressos so far so I'm not quite awake :rolleyes:

    I'll attempt a bit more detail:
    I got some blue shoulders that have 3 white base lines
    • 12 dmg
    • 681 hp
    • 332 armor
    plus the 2 enchantments for a blue item
    • +5.7% block rate (yup, that one is new)
    • +7% armor
    Also those white lines use the gold stat line thingy. I got one of those on something... again, early a.m. brain functioning here :p

    //edit//Old shields may be better than new ones :confused: The varialble white stat lines are resistance, armor and... you may want a stiff drink for this one... NERFED BLOCK RATE :eek: Gone is the base value of 25% block rate. It appears it can go as low as 7.5%!!! Naughty devs... go sit in the corner :p

    Here is the blue shield I have:
    • 675 armor
    • 578 resist (this is a gold line)
    • 912 block rate :mad:
    the 2 blue enchantments are:
    • 18.76 incr block rate... yeah, ikr :p
    • +6.16% hp
    This amazing shield gives my DK a block rate of... wait for it... 9.87% :rolleyes: To be fair that is without the most awesome enchantment from the shoulders :D

    At first I felt this was a "good news, bad news" thing. After I started considering all the possible implications my feelings are more like... unfathomable insane weirdness :cool:

    To improve the base stats of the item (the white ones)

    They aren't "variable", they have a range from min to max and they are static:
    DMG
    HP
    Res
    on rings, belt, ammy

    DMG
    HP
    Armor
    on shoulders, gloves, chest, helm

    DMG
    aps
    on weapon

    CHR
    DMG
    on Offensive off-hand, adornament

    Block
    armor
    HP
    on the defensive off-hand

    and yes, all the "legacy" stuff will be obsolete because of this other than 4 gold lines IAS gloves since IAS has been nerfed in the max values and cannot be obteined as easly as befor with sapphires.

    What was he trying to say is "they are random".
    Yes they are random ... everything is random. All base stats are random from xxx to xxx.
    Also the base damage of the weapons is random ... you get random minimum and random maximum value:
    Random minimum base damage from xxx-xxx
    Random maximum value from xxx-xxx
    At the end the base damage looks like this
    Base damage : xxx-xxx-xxx-xxx
    If they are willing to pay me off 3M+ andermants I might take it into consideration :)

    I said ... I can think about it if getting full price back ...I didn't say I will take the offer :D
    I can understand gear change ... we have all went through it many times ... but the gems are the core investment and hard work from the start in the past 5 years.
    I have been working hard for 5 years to get there ... I was beaten by P2W ... I took it like a man.
    Now when finally I can oppose them ... they are taking my gear ... my andermant ... my hard work ... and I will have to be at noob level again and some new P2W noobs will have advantage over me.
    I won't allow anyone to nullify my work and achievement.

    Oh BTW ... speaking of achievements ... you know why the timed achievements in PW are not working? They have been turned off :D
    There are no more Timed Achievements in the new release. All of those are in "Legacy Achievements" category ... those are achievements that you can't do/obtain them anymore ... just like "Enter Watery Grave" achievement.
    I am missing only timed achievements in q8 and q7 m1 Fatal ... I can live with that ... ATM I am at 8500+ achievements points (at live server of course) :D

    Looking at the new legendary items, it looks like the new character in this brand new game should look like (compared to the old one):
    Damage: +++
    Attack speed: + (saphires + runes)
    HP: +++
    Armor: ++ (even less importance of Fortifying jewel - useless now)
    Blocks:+
    Critical Hit Rate: ---
    Critical Damage: -
    Resistance: +++

    If there are no changes to this, soon the game will be full of SMs (not interested in crit. system), which will lead to the next update lowering their skill damage/hit rate. Due to the growing number of SMs, this will lead to more unhappy players ...
    2H DK, crit oriented will be a rarity after this patch. Not so common will be shield CMs and RAs.
    I understand the deal with the removal of the chance to get new saphires and the structure of the new weapon modifiers, ment to have onyxes only in them ... but this hapens in a moment when the game lost the balance in pve, having a players class with no need of crit and with high skill hit rate. We have tested and the difference between the SM and the others seems to get bigger and bigger with every playing hour.

    So this upgrade stones too expensive :( Need cut price or give another sources for output because 25 polishing every day toooooooooooooooooo few :mad::mad::mad::mad: I do not know where to get so much unders :oops: 230k unders for royal stone...

    i definately agree we already paid insane amount, i paid like 3 mill for my jester gems then you DSO devs started to give them out for free through clovers and screwed me over now you guys gonna screw us players more the players who has paid thousands of USD sad.... what a great way to retain your best players who keeps this companies bills being paid

    oh not to mention as some are saying sapphires may be taken off game and players refunded for it they better refund my joker gems as well that i used on them!

    That certainly looks like a bug. I remember something like that happened with the Lortac Update as well. Increasing percentage values with an item upgrade is probably unintentional.

    On another note, I think these changes are all for the better.
    First, it wouldn't be possible for everyone to craft the maximum stat gear anymore even with spending a lot of gold. That means more variation in gear and weapons and there is always something to look forward to. You wouldn't get bored after crafting the best gear. Because there is no such thing, you can always find and craft better gear. Growth potential is huge.

    However, I don't like the nerf to shields. Because, now more than ever, 1H builds would be totally obsolete. No one in their right mind would be playing a 1H build anymore. Unless you happen to craft the shield at level 49 and then upgrade it. Upgrading a level 49 to 60 would cost a lot, so this is only an option for a serious hard-core gamer.

    The changes to gems are great. Because, for one thing it would be bad for the twinks. Now, they will have to think twice before purchasing gems. Because eventually the gems they purchase prior to level 50 would be obsolete when they reach level 50. So, unless you have a ton of cash, most people would skip buying gems in lower levels. Besides, the new gems are more expensive, so there is nothing to complain, you still have your old gems and if only you want to get the power of the new gems, you have to do the conversion.

    I am not sure about what will happen with the armor, because now it seems it will be easy to reach 80% armor and 80% resistance than ever before.

    Umm, not really. Twinks already live in a world of planned obsolescence. The changes will affect somewhat future twinks but have no impact on established twinks. In fact that group benefits. Their offensive gems are already set. The benefit comes from being able to move the special gems they have from using xp blockers in events. The open slots can then be used to boost the already insane defense even higher.

    The loss of sapphires for the wannabe twinks is only a minor problem. While they will not be able to be top dog among the established twinks they will will still be able to demoralize all the non-twink players.

    Another advantage all twinks will eventually get is that the twinking level range will ultimately be extended. Here on Tegan some of the stronger twinks moved up to level 40 to take advantage of the clover daily. This reduced their twink lifespan to just 4 more levels. This has now been increased to 9 levels. Add to that there are now 5 more upgrade levels available.

    Now consider that a good numbers of twinks are some of the biggest P2P in the game. For that group buying the refiners to upgrade to the new gems at level 50 will not be a big deal.

    As always the devs do little to nothing that impacts the twink community. R185 is no different.
