Dragonknights are useless??

Yo guys i am 26 dragonknight ardent centurion and the only thing i have is a 48 level shield but when i play pvp i am always again boosted guys or guys that pay af and they even deal 1k dmg and more and as a dragonknight u have to chase them but when u stun them they escape and then 3k+ dmg and you are dead...is there any point...?I mean being 25 level with 55 levels items and 15k life and full block rate makes really no sense..

i just started getting boosted because of them man in order to become the same with them but the removed the xp block and now we are just losing 2-0...the have 2k dmg each one of them...hope BP does something for this cuz everyday is like 20 wins 100 loses

 

Recommendation is to level up to experience level 55 and then play pvp.

 

u know leveling up will not make any sense...being low pvp level at 55 lvl as a dragonknight is useless

If you actually leveled up you would understand but no you sit there and complain because your not as good as twink as you used to be. I leveled up my dk when he was only knight of the order. I know dks that are top notch and are only centurions so don't use the honor points excuse.

When you ask for help don't complain to others about excused that have almost nothing to do wit anything. When you level up, not getting experience is out the door and you can just build and build up with no worries. What I suppose for your case is to slowly level up and not rush it with buffs in all. Then you would be fine. Staying at low lvl is going to do nothing. Dk is actually a very good class when they begin to gain all their potential. I agree they are pretty bad at very low lvl because they lack the ability to catch other classes.

 

You always have chance to consult in game or forum about how to prepare your toon to be ready at level 55 though you have low pvp level.
By paying or farming does not matter the only difference is time. Both need preparation.

At end game level there are many cases where Ardent Centurion or lower defeat Marshal and above. That is also because:

The game made it that way. At end game level you don't need to be Marshal to have 50K+ crit damage or even 100k+. Even Grand Master not be able to sustain that kind of damage or at least considerer it a serious damage to their toon.

Seriously, you have simply bought into one of the lies that twinks use to justify their existence. High rank does not necessarily give players an edge at endgame. I can routinely beat former twinks in 1v1 with much higher rank than me that have leveled up. I am also competitive in the other formats even with my average build. The main reason for this is because I have a lot more experience at endgame pvp in this game.

Also you missed the point of my first post (which is understandable since it was basically a troll ) The same measures if implanted that would render the OP twinks toothless would also make your lvl 48 shield useless. Then you would be right back where you started.

At endgame the disparity with builds is mitigated since everyone is playing under the same rules. Yes, long time and/or cash players will still have an advantage but that is to be expected. Overall though endgame pvp is a lot more competitive and a heckuva lot more fun than low level pvp.

Ultimately the choice is yours. You can continue with the 'woe is me; it's hopeless' attitude or get on the bus with the big girls and boys and play the game like it should be played.

Look, i play 1year and a half... Wanna an advice? You wanna win from the start? If yes stop playing, for me the pvp is quite normal, i farmed and i thought stategies to play. What do you expect? To have an OP player that does not take dmg?(why people are not running and think that running is shameful? people bash me for running with my DK). That only happens when you are bullying the new players (which you probably do). 26 lvl is nothing, i have a 41lvl ranger and i rarely play.
My DK became Flag bearer in a year of playing pvp, so if you really try you will win.. Stop whining about boosted, you are one.
If you want to stand against lvl 55 just play few games, and when you gear up go and try, the system more or less will find one with your pvp lvl. My win ratio is like 53% or something.
Why would somebody like to stay at low lvl? Its not fun at all, just abuse for the others who really try to have fun.

 

It seems that you are completely out of the point...having a 48 level shield doesn't make me boosted [EDIT]...just i said i asked some help because of this situation..Moreover you cant run in 1v1...don't u understand that i deal no dmg to the boosted opponents? or that they are 27 level and deal 4k and more TO a level (48!!!) Shield...that's boosted!
There is no point in running when i will never win and yes having 4k health while a mage has 10k makes no sense to everyone just because their items are all 40+ level. ALL i need is 400 more wins to get the bear and then start my way to 55 level where i can continue to other arenas!But i don't seem to be getting it in like 1 year if this continues!You can't just play 50 arenas per day and win only 15!No one said that i don't run and yet there is no strategy for a DK when u have to chase them....and take all the dmg!One shoting me is like 40% of my pvp When i play with a Boosted player...or asking them about their HP and their answer is 14k with 2 years boosting!BP has messed up and now there is no going back!As i said i will keep waiting for a level limit in upgrades!And just to know i always let the other weak players have a win just cos i know the situation here!

You seem to be right but isn't better to take the bear first and then continue?Cos now i have dragan set's and some equipement of arachna and i don't want to level up just because i will have to level them up or replace them with lower value items!Maybe a good event and i will hit 30 level with new equipped weapons and more...

Of course you can run in 1vs1, more than 90% of my 1vs1 is me running. Having a 2h DK with not many good items is hard.
Go lvlup and stop whining, it leads nowhere...
When i was low lvl i wanted to go the highest lvl. Now answer me, why do you want to stay low lvl? This thread is all about "oh i am low lvl and others have many items".
going from 20 to 40lvl takes about a week or something with casual gaming. Staying low lvl means that you want to be a boosted player. thats all.

 

I want to stay low cos i have some sets in my level and i dont want to lose them...and here sometimes you find recruits and stuff and makes it a little bit easier...and ofc i am complaining not just cos i want attention...cos i want BP to finally do something good and gave a good game where there is some adjustment.....maybe stopping the boosting thing is a good idea just to stop the newewst generations... but THEY have to do something for those who have already been boosted [EDIT]....that's my point!!!

 

You seem to not understand how games like this work..., leveling up is a part of the process and the truth is that those sets that you think are all that are garbage... you hear that? You are putting off leveling up so that you can hold on to garbage.

They have done something for all you [EDIT] twinks... they are finally forcing you to play the game the way it was intended. Do not expect anyone here on the forums, aside from other twinks, to feel sorry for you. The only thing that upsets me is that it took BP over two years before they listened and put an end to your kind. What your saying sounds like "Sure, it's fine that they made it so that there can't be any more twinks, but why can't I stay a twink foreeeeevvvveeeeerrrr!?!?!"

Welcome to a variation of real life. In real life, you need to grow up and expand your horizons and improve yourself. When you cry about BP killing off twinks, you sound like a 40 year old living in his parents basement throwing a temper tantrum when his parents tell him that they are kicking him out and that he needs to get a job and find his own place.

P.S. The grammar, punctuation, capitalization, etc. all contribute to this sad and depressing image. Grow up, level up, gear up, and start PvPing against worthy opponents, not noobs who started playing a week ago.

 

Why don't you tell the twinks how you really feel

While I am truly thankful that BP is making a little effort to rid the game of twinks, I hope that they stick with it until all of them either level up or leave the game.

Im not sure if Bigpoint are stoping new DK players, ive just noticed that the new vargulf shield no longer have the block rate stats, aspiring tankers no longer have the chance to grow strong or maybe will have the hardest path to be strong enough to handle fatal or infernal simply because of this, dont you guys think its unfair for new players that long time players have these shields and can tank better way better, on top of that legendary shields only provides improve block rate on the same item which sucks, if you dont want new ones to grow stronger then this job should no longer be available upon creating an account and let the long time players retain their existing DK's.

 

Not an ideal solution, but the 6000 draken gnob shield is still available.

3744 base block rate and 100% increased block rate.

Pair them with the dragan battleworn set pauldrons and pristine core craft some block rate enchantments onto the pauldrons.

Consider getting rings/amulets with block strength and lifekeeper mace as well if you want to go down this path.

 

You've got a point there...DK's have the hardest path to grow strong and there is no DK(probably) that can tank the difficult levels in this game...Maybe there is one(perhaps he is a very old player) and it's a little bit exactly what i mean..i can't be a DK playing with lower level mages or rangers,having lower hp and lower dmg and lower block rate...it doesn't make any sense to me..at least give me more hp and block rate not talking about the armor and give the others some more dmg that how the game should be!If they deal 4k dmg at 25 level at 55 is going to be 40k?

 

If you consider that DKs are useless you should watch some of Prototype's videos.He can kill fatal bosses in less than 30 sec, infernal bosses with green, do 100+ kills pe match in pvp with 2-3 deaths and he is a DK.Show me another class who can kill infernal bosses with green like khaly or mortis for instance, die 2-3 times per game in pvp with over 100 kills and then we can talk about DK being useless.

If he can do all that with ease and u cant, it doesnt mean that DKs are useless..it means that u are not going the right way.
