  1. What is your favorite 2h staff(if that is what you use mainly) and why? I would say mine so far is Dragan's(with fire incense) because fire is my main attack. I would like to try Herald's though, T5-6. Need to save up more materai. xD

    I'm using Herald Staff. I already had a stable playstyle several years ago and the staff required minimal change to fit in, so it seemed like the logical choice.

    Bearach's, synergizes with full Dragan+Siggy's set, has a wee bit of crit and the lightning is my favored source of damage, works awesome for me.

    While the Dragan staff has nice speed, the damage is also lower. That makes a significant difference in the end. I'd recommend either the Bearach or Herald staffs. They offer much better damage and much better set bonuses/effects.

  5. Since posting this I have switched from the dragan staff to the dragonwing sceptor and codex mainly for the crit hit rate. It does use more green essense, ess in general being a one hand but for just simple farming and painful runs for me it is quite efficient and dare i say better than a two hander. I havent used it on a boss yet, little nervous to but when i do if it does well..im changing to it permanently lol

    ---UPDATE: Overall, not better than a 2h xD

    Most builds nowadays, if not all, are 2H for damage dealers.
    Aside from some RAs who still rock longbows, which are technically 1Hs.
    1H with shield is an option for PvP for the rest of us DPSs. However, two things:
    • fire attack as main: I presume you meant Fireball, and now with this set, also your Magic Missile, but for PvE the Frozen Sphere and Lightning Strike reign - maybe Fireball too, but just for Q7 set users who can pretty much spam it as a main attack rather than second;
    • it is rather impossible to top the trending 2H builds (especially Q4 and Q7-centered ones for the very end-game phase), and surely not going to happen with the items you mentioned, there are much better wands/books out there, if anything... but if it's doing you well ATM, have fun using it, just know that it definitely won't be a permanent switch (even a simple offensive comparison with the DPI calculator shows you the world of difference, or you can also search around YouTube or the showcase section and see for yourself that really no build is 1H).
    This is the meta, but it looks as though you are still a young character, so not a worry. It's not all just that easy xD.
    You have plenty of time to plan, test, farm, craft and make an idea about what configuration you want to end up in.

    BloodRune Staff, dyed black. For the set buffs mainly. Less work when your health is partly restored with each vanquish. Also great for alt-tab + shift with skills auto farming.

  8. What is 'auto farming'?
    Also i do like the values for the bloodrune. never got the staff yet but the belt and adornment I do have.

    It's just the term I use, for tricking the client into continuing to use skills, while you are in another window. Only works on a respawn map of cause.

    Well you can buy the rune staff now from Varholm map 3 with drakens at least. I have both Dragan and blood rune set buffs at once, thus more buffs than skills.
    Managed to craft the staff's status to a higher tier with cores ta-boot, I think I have the fastest, which was my first drop, from long ago, used to be only a 0 tier with the same speed.

    Hello @HEXMETAL, although what you're describing doesn't involve usage of third party software nor is an exploit in itself, it can be taken as admittance and proof for boosting and/or pushing, which is against the General Terms and Conditions:

    • 1.2.6 Users are authorised to create multiple accounts, but certain games operated by Bigpoint permit Users to play with one Account only (“prohibition of multiple Accounts”), and detailed information on this is provided in the Game rules. Bigpoint strongly recommends that all Users with multiple Accounts read the rules for the relevant Game, as a breach of the prohibition of multiple Accounts may result in an immediate suspension of the User.
    • Furthermore, even in Games that enable Users to have multiple Accounts, communication and any kind of interaction whatsoever between the Accounts of the same User is prohibited (ban on “pushing”). In particular, an Account may not be used to create advantages for another Account held by the same User to, for example, transfer Game items or currency from one Account to another Account of that User, and one Account cannot compete against another Account held by the same User.
    So, be wary of how you manage your accounts in-game, since you could be sanctioned for breaking the aforementioned rules, best regards.

    Shalom. Heh, ok. Having multiple accounts always seems like far too much work. Thus I use but a single account. So no problem in this regard.
    Rather I am manipulating my own PC not the software. It's about the same as holding down mouse buttons and the shift key.

    Used this trick when my wrists get tired mainly. Just a useful health risk saver.

    LOL :eek::D.

    Anyway, the adornment is part of a different set, the Wolf Slayer, be wary. And it's trash ;).

    As for the staff, it's a nice one, but gets topped easily because it has low base damage. Yeah, it's got more speed, but generally that doesn't compensate for the aforementioned. The set itself is not really the best you could go for in the end, but it can do meanwhile (some like to use 3/4 of that so they get the 20% more speed, but that kinda works mostly for dwarves ATM, since they don't care if they lose 2 of either belt/amulet/ring slots - as a mage, you'll need better in those aspects). It has good defensive boosts, though, but still not quite what a DPS should ultimately aim for as main focus. I used to have the staff and wanted to craft on it to boost rubies too, but it got replaced recently by a Dragan weapon with small speed loss (+ the HP 1 set item bonus line), but got a lot more damage to boot, so not worth it (thus, tip: don't add irreversible stuff like open slots or do crafting on something that is not part of your final build idea, resources and materials are hard to get as is - you can use glyphs, though, as you cna always get those back) - when I finally switch to a PW weapon, Q4 or 7, it will be another damage hop and some speed loss (as event staffs have a bigger base speed stat of 0,95 compared to other 2Hs that have 0,83).
