R209 Q/A

We'll see how is it going to be when it comes to live servers. At the first glance (and what I have seen in the test server) it seems good, if only the PvP rebalancing was done in a similar manner!

Where is andermagic in this thingy? I've seen andermagic-marked monsters in the test server. What element will be the best against them?

 

Probably doesn't exist because we can't deal andermagic, so that element which is beaten by andermagic will be the strongest vs. players because there's no weakness.

Also, when is live server r209 coming? Next week? week after?
Asking because you can still buy wisdom from shop, which seems like Super Duper Cash Grab from players who don't have lv55 wisdom right now or are planning on buying lv200 from wisdom in their inventory. Of course I am not against people supporting the game with money but this is supposed to be "fair" and I see obvious flaws in your plan. Only thing it is doing is making older buyers OP while younger buyers I suspect will be using extra wisdom seeker runes.

 

She won't be more powerful. If there was an element that was weak vs andermagic, then the boss with that element wouldn't have a "weakness" for us players to expose, where we currently can use fire to target ice bosses etc.

Buying wisdom from the shop wouldn't be so smart. You don't get many levels out of it, but of course greedy pay2wins will take advantage

 

Well, buying wisdom only helps on pve. So it only helps me if I play with someone who has bought some

 

I think the game will be more interesting now. Do you have a release date for this patch? I'm just to excited to play after this release. Ty in advance.

 

Im guessing it will come to live servers on tuesday, coz thats the time the usually do updates.

 

They happen on Tues, Wed, or Thur.

They put the sync date on the forum the day before, so it won't be tomorrow (Tues) this time.

Hopefully they are working on this before they release it so it won't kill everyone's CPU.

Feedback:

What little I was able to gather on the test server (my character isn't end game) it seems fine. Fresh characters take a minor hit in the beginning, but nothing game changing.

The biggest thing that I do not care for (besides the CPU working overtime) is that the wisdom runes are forced to be in shoulders, where for those of us that like to use materi runes. Why not put them in capes? Or better yet, give us more rune space?

There is certainly a lot of potential with the expansion of wisdom which is a good thing. We'll have to see how fast wisdom drops but I do like the idea.

 

For me it will be nice if on experience skill tree panel on double click on skill icon all corresponding skill upgrades will be cleared/filled.

 

i have disabled group effects but they are still active

 

They've mentioned in the last live stream that those group effects have a default base value and that they're working even without points invested in them, so when you use your points on them you're basically improving that effect (or the base value).

 

wow i didnt know that, these green circles are horrible and they are all over the ground :/

group talents should work as any other talent: no points assigned means its inactive

what kind of technical issues makes you delay an update for 1-2 weeks?

 

Anyone know when r209 will be release? I hear somthing like..in the same time when dragan event will begin, is true? If yes that means another 9days ...so here will be 3weeks not 1-2 week of delay ... but is better this way, delay and when will be release in live servers without big bugs or none. Thx!

 

Anybody do not know when will be patch 209. The patch will be before event Dragan. I hope that it will be on beginning next week.

 

Anyone that plays test server have a rough estimate how long we will need to farm after this next nerf/update to get back to our current strengths ?
