    Hi,

Lately (meaning the last 2-3 days) I've been experiencing huge lag spikes. From 42ms to 500ms+ in an instant. It culminated this evening when disconnects started to appear.

At first I got one every half an hour, now I cannot play the game for 1-2 minutes without getting disconnected.

I ran a connection monitor tool (logging pings sent to Google and other servers every second) and it's all in the perfect range (40ms - 90ms) except Drakensang.

    What I tried:

    - uninstalling the game (and the temporary files) and reinstalling it
    - reinstalling my network adapter

Nothing works. Even connecting to the webserver (drakensang.com) stalls sometimes.

This is clearly something on your side.

Funny how my premium membership expires in 2 days and this happens. You must not want my money. :) Well, if I won't be able to play the remainder of my subscription, I'll surely WON'T get another month of premium, but will run along to [EDIT]. Their servers work flawlessly and when they don't, they always make an announcement.

PS: Asked around and quite a few guys on Heredur have the same issue. I'm assuming some mod will tell me to contact support. That begs the question: Why is this section even opened on the forum if you don't have an IT guy here?

    Hello @9ndrei ,
Please do not contact support. Many players were facing frequent disconnections today, including myself.
The issue will probably be further investigated in the morning.

    Cheers.

I would contact support. HONEST TO GOD, but it wouldn't be the first time in my DSO history and I know how it goes. They tell me to do a ton of generic stuff, which I already did, it will span across days and I'll end up with lost time and no improvement.

If it's nothing on my side, we're just losing time..

You have a position in DSO, send my and every forum issue description to the appropriate department. It will surely reach it faster than through support. Again, I don't need them to tell me to restart my PC, after a day to reset my router (2 days, because I don't use one, so I have to explain that), then to reinstall the game and so forth.

On the test server, I have experienced huge ping spikes these last few days but today was the worst. It was so bad that my character was getting randomly teleported in the PW maps.

I would very much like to have 42 ms, but I play between 186 and 200ms and when it's too bad I can not walk. Above 200ms.

The South Americans are not respected in this game, we do not have a server close and what we had went to China. Agathon suffers, should be called Lagathon. They should not want us in the game because we complain a lot, but here is a big public, including Brazil is the second largest market in the world in games, behind only the USA. Unfortunately the team of the game does not know how to generate profits.

One little advice, dont make confusion between forum and game, and respect mods of forum because they are really nice people.

Both tegan and agathon servers are owned by Tencent,so BP does not have direct control on these servers(Partner servers). Also BP is owned now by Youzu Interactive,so they can't decide freely about DSO management. This is not ideal situation for any game.

Your latency is pretty much normal. You are thousands kilometers away from the server ... so your lag is normal.
I have already pretty much explained it here in this topic.
That is the law of physics.
Well you can do that and you can have low latency.
In order to achieve low latency you should be able to manipulate the fabric of time and space. Make a shortcut and you are good.
In other words ... you would need to make your own wormhole and connect to the server with a 10 meter long cable.
Last time I checked ... San Francisco was still in USA.
    Absolutely NOT true.
Brazil is not even in Top 10.
Brazil, with 210 million population has around 142 million internet population. With a total Game revenues around $1.4 billion.
As a comparison ... Germany with 82 million population has internet population around 76 million. Game revenues around $5 billion.
In any way Brazil is not in the top of the charts.

I know this is a bit off-topic, but I don’t understand why the test server is supposedly full 95% of the time for these last few weeks, and yet the time it takes to join a 3v3 or 5v5 takes extremely long even at max level. Someone please enlighten me on how this makes sense.

    A very simple reason.
The capacity of the Test Server is small ... but in same time:
    - There are no lifers holding the server hostage.
    - There are people recording videos and shows ... you know ... "like and subscribe and don't forget to hit the bell" type of contents for their monetized channels.
    - There are people streaming in real time.
    - And so on and so forth.

Those are the real reasons and almost none of those are connected with testing whatsoever.
