    It could have been better if they fixed it yesterday ... or even better before the release went to live servers.

    Jokes aside you're right, many people reported this problem even before the appearance of Dragan on live servers... no one at BP listened...

    yeah i wonder why they have the test server. Just push it to the main servers so the users can do the bug reports... why bother, the test server could be used to test their new payment methods :D

    So, I'm told that there is a fix on the test server for the brown screen, but we have to endure this major pain in the rear bug during a mini event till it's placed on live on Monday. I would request that that mini event gets extended or some kind of apology gift for making us go through this (But let's be realistic here, I've asked this before and got shot down cause it's what you guys do).

    Especially since it's been known for over a month and a half ago. I know this because I sent in a personal ticket complaining about it and at that time, it was only affecting a select few. Now, it's the majority of their gamers. It's made half my guild leave the game, leaving a few stragglers to do this long awaited event. Bravo guys... bravo.


    All the other games I've played, for their major events, if they were ANY kind of problems, such as this. They would either give us stuff or extend the event. Make this right or you'll lose even more players than you already have.

    This loading screen thing sucks! More of my guild have left the game because of it (leaving maybe 4 players of the guild actively playing out of a full guild). This is my first dragan event and now, i have no one to help me through it. I'm SO mad and disappointed of this whole mess. I've already been let down by the other events and wasn't impressed. I've been waiting for this event since Easter!! And now, I'm on my own of not knowing what exactly what to do. If there is guild looking for a lvl 50 mech with all PW doors unlocked, please look up Caitey. Thank you.

    BTW, thanks Drakensang for making this moment another horrible memory of this game....... this should have been fixed BEFORE the weekend knowing that a mini event was in store with a big holiday for the players in the states.

    That is true.
    We are now waiting 5 minutes until start cleaning one map ... because we are going one after another and waiting the previous player to get his black screen off and type "+" in group chat (meaning the player changed the position so the next one can't bump into same spot and get in the middle of the map surrounded and killed by monsters ... waiting for the screen to show).

    what about to give us ( players) with deluxe 2 cubes for every kill of sipder on hard? till now 50+ kills are u gonna fix drop for spider tomor ?

    I'm not finding the place to put comments, suggestions for the Dragan Event. If possible, please move this to that location, thanks.

    My suggestion is, instead of squishing SO many players to ONE zone, especially for the largest and most well known event of this game; can we have multiple entrances for different levels? So, like Kingshill can be level 10-30. Command of Resistance for lvl 30-40 and then Ashayra (SP?) for the higher levels. Something like that. It would help the lag out immensely with everyone being spread out. I know there are different instances of the zone, but I think this would help out that much more.

    What do you think about the bug "brown screen" ( and so ) since R164 ?

    I can't play with my main chars since R164 ,so I can't play !

    Do you think BP don't care about this ? I think so when I see this hotfix today ,thix hotfix don't fix our bug , we sent our log files to help the newbies BP's developpers ( oh oh sorry the only one for our bug ! ) , but there's nothing done here to fix our bug !!!

    Ok , Ok , you will tell me that the team do the best to fix this bug and this a "priority" for us ( lol ) , blablablablabla ,etc .It's not a priority for BP , we can see that now .

    No respect for the players here ! If you can't tell at your "team" that many players leave this game cause your bugs , you're useless .

    BB , see you soon on the next release , or not .

    It was (a priority) when all the server had the problem, they managed to fix this quite fast, i know this kind of problem is harder to fix but its been almost 2 months since the R164. Now what the devs do is what my signature does... They sleep..

  16. New tracking features were added to DSO as part of R167. These will, hopefully, assist the team in isolating the cause of the pink/brown screen issue. Even if you have previously sent in your latest (i.e. unnumbered) client log to Support, please do so again after you experience the pink/brown screen bug and also include the date and time (pref. CEST) of the pink/brown screen. Make sure you are logged into your DSO a/c before you send in the ticket. That way, your a/c details will be automatically included.

    Hey there everyone,

    thanks for bearing with me and the loading screens issue. That was, certainly, a very frustrating one.

    Regarding the ongoing questions "Why don't you test this on the TS" and "Why did you not react last week to the problems", here's the official answer I can provide. We are sorry about this whole business but quite honestly, the team did not see the problem coming when the release was still on the TS. We heard the reports from different community members, that's true, escalated them and after some consideration they deemed unnecessary to postpone the sync of the release.

    A human error that they can reflect upon,
    I'm sure of that.

    On the other hand, a fix was already created by last Thursday evening but Production deemed it too risky to move forward with it on Friday, for a number of technical reasons. We know that this impacted the gaming experience of multitude of players during the weekend. Still, we did not want to push yet another potential faulty version onto the live servers, jeopardizing with it the experience of the whole community. Rushing things again was a no-go. Only when the fix was completely ready to be sync-ed, we proceed with it which happened to be yesterday.

    Again, we are sorry for the inconveniences that this caused to you. It sucked a lot - we are aware of that.

    The Challenge #1 was extended for a day and we are still in conversation about extending the event a tad more. We'll communicate on the forums and the Breaking News section if this is the case.

    And now let's go with more specific messages.

    well, more than being "recognized", the game designers will start working on that, I reckon, once they complete a row of designs that they had in the pipeline for the upcoming 2-3 releases. Hopefully we can give you more updates about this #soon.


    It's indeed and it's super frustrating! Rel167 brough some tracking measures in the background so when users contact us through Customer Support they provide their log files, which we send to the programming team - this is helping them. We totally wanna fix this asap. But we are also relying on the reports that come in and these take also time.


    Another chewing-gum topic: it will be tackled during this summer.
    Cannot be more specific at this point, unfortunately...


    Hey there,

    I think it sucks and I'd rather see it gone, yes? By the way, there's something being done here about this bug. It may not be the whole team paralyzing all development process for all our versions and focusing on this - that'd be, surely, the right path of action for a lot of you but it's not happening. Suffice to say, this is being investigated.

    As Allogeneous says, we are receiving the logfiles of players post-release, with the extra tracking measures. Our Programmer X has already an idea for a fix but before delving into something else or create a +1 issue, he'd rather see more log files from affected users. That's, if you have not done so already, please send your Customer Support team a ticket with that info and they'll forward that to us ipso facto.

    I am personally very sorry of this situation - but we need those log files atm.

    Haruki-Sama, this is a round of odd questions, so bear with me please:

    -This one's from my couple, who's interested on the matter for reasons that escape even me: A few weeks ago, we had the Obsidian Wings implemented into the game, first as early access through payment, then as rewards from lucky spehres obtainable via Gnob, but I noticed they're no longer available at Gnob, so the questions are, are they gone for good?, are they considered limited offers that will appear every now and then? or were they accidentally removed from Gnob's casino?

    -Regarding the lore and story of the game, we've met with 3 of the 5 bounded old gods, Artaya, Oceanus and Mortis, my question is, is there any concept art and/or plans for Fjalnir and Fyrgon to be brought into the game at some point?, I'm very curious to know which forms these 2 have and if we have yet to see them as friends or foes in the future. Also, I know there's a destroyed statue of Fyrgon in the Thunder Crest, but it strikes me as it might be the image the dwarves had of Fyrgon rather than his true form, could you please ask the amazing art team about this stuff whenever you have the chance?, thanks!

    -As far as the lore goes, both Agathon and Balor are sons of The Dragon and Nefertari, which gave birth to them thanks to her seizing some power from the world's heart, we've never seen Agathon, but observing Balor's behaviour and the way his skills work, we can safely assume he was formerly a Dragonknight, so, are all the Dragonknights in Dracania direct descendants of Agathon and Balor, thus being this the source of their rage-based powers?

    -At some point during the quest lines in Atlantis, one gets to try to purify a poisoned fountain in the Heart of Atlantis, where we are attacked by the "Ghost of the first human woman" a.k.a., Nefertari, according to the stories heard up to this point in the storyline, yet when we reach LorTac, we face off against Nefertari, who happens to be very alive and well, so, is this just an overlook on the previous quests lines, a mistake on story writing if you prefer, or is it that the creature we faced off against in Atlantis is not an actual ghost but a mere projection of Nefertari's power in the Fountian of the first human woman?

    Those are the ones I remember for now, thanks in advance for going through the trouble of answering, and!, if the art team has any concept art for Fyrgon and/or Fjalnir and it's possible for them to share it with us I'd be very happy to see it!, have a nice day.

    Dear Haruki, i am really glad to hear that they have an idea for the prob and i really hope that the next rel will fix the prob, i don't really like spamming the next twitch with this question again. Many users stopped playing due to this problem.
    Btw you are reffering to the "Programmer X" so that means he is a member of the forum and you avoid saying his username? :D :rolleyes:

    I hope that counts as a lesson learned. We the players know infinity more about what will piss off other players than your developer team (obviously), so maybe next time you will listen when we tell you there is a serious issue instead of letting the dev team make excuses or judgement calls that they are apparently not qualified to make.
