    You don't have to ... you have been dismissed.
    You don't understand the base philosophy ... and i doubt you understand the game mechanics ... especially the base stats and the items.
    Read the Crafting extension on Wiki ... i have made a new section in it last week (it is still blank) :)
    I am about to explain the mechanics behind the base stats and the items.
    Also i can make an ultimate guide including all "dark secrets" of crafting that almost no one is aware of.
    Note: naming them dark doesn't mean they are illegal.

    Then enlighten me, Master of the Grand Lodge. What is the philosophy behind keeping the percentage bonuses in PvP, when they are the reason for the size of the gap between the old and the new players? It doesn't take rocket science to see that if you take away all the percentage values from everyone, you're taking from dmg dealers mostly their damage and from tanks mostly their defence. However... If you take away the base values and keep only the percentages in... either the percentages won't have anything to increase so that they would matter or they would make crazy, game breaking differences in any other system (just like it is the case now). If you somehow found the perfect base values that make the outcome desired, that's a lot of work to get the same results as one would get from keeping the base values in and then putting on a buff/debuff overlay to all the stats for everyone.
    And now... the biggest problem of your suggestion comes. Everyone would have to get rid of their current gear and craft 4/4 legs again... just to transfer them into some new crap? And then it would fail too, new gear would be made, and everything over again... No, thanks. I'm waiting for what they are going to do while trying to suggest some useful ways of improving the system that is being already made, instead of suggesting a not-proven-to-work system that would make bigger mess than it is now and anyways is too complicated for them to implement.

    I was among the people who voted No on the wiki poll, but I am also going to say "yes" if the system is made properly and not completly gearless.

    I just heard on the test server with the new update. You are removing all are saphires exchanging them for runes. That is total bull I have been playing this game for almost 6 years. My saphires are all bought and paid for. LAST STRAW BP!!!!!!!

    I'll be totally chill about this and say..

    Gearless pvp is OK as a temporary change. I was snagging top daily honour for 5v5 throughout 40-45. Ever since 1 hit pvp came out with lvl 50, i quit pvp and then quit game for a year and haven't spent a cent since.

    PvP is a great motivator for spending time improving gear and gems. If you remove that, many people will see the farm as pointless.
    Essence for example, originally had no nerf in PvP, then it was 10%, then 0%. I will randomly throw..20% as a reasonable advantage a fully gemmed/geared player can have in PvP over a potato. Not 0 effect, just 20% or so.

    Good idea on scaling in PVP, not everyone plays on overpopulated servers. There can be scaling for base stats and enchants, but not for gems/runes.

    Hi on my Opinion About pvp.-
    1.- Old players are discriminated because we farm a lot for drop items with gold lines, for our gems, our runes, waste our gold and time farming for nothing?
    2- why better fix bugs on pvp first, that have a lot time and nothing like:
    Bloodmage 2h for dwarf big range
    No freezing on hunters(dance of blade) and Wars like the jump and the other skills.
    3.- I know sound bad but players who say "it's good" never craft a set 1h and items with gold lines and is just for players who want free All, it's cool u want same for Free ppl but thats is like Free completly free, no farm no waste time like players like me wich farm a lot for very nice items and make best crafting.
    45.- Lag on Agathon after some change of servers on Agathon the ping is soo high and on pvp is not good (after was 70-100Ms--- after change 150-190ms) and i report that but.. words.......
    It's my personal opinion i don't want bother anyone is just what i thought.

    Why are you removing Jesters? Jesters are probably the best way to spend your gold when you have a lot of it and you have nowhere to spend it.Without the Jesters we will be forced to buy stones,essences ect.. don't remove em . They don't give uniques or legendary items they give you essence (even bombs) to help you clear the dungeon.

    PVP gearless is a nonsense, why should i spend time in boring events if the runes dont work in pvp? why should i kill thousand times a boss if his unique bonus dont work in pvp? only to kill faster the same boss again and again, but what for, to get bored only!
    If you think that the pvp gap between top runes/gems and full unique builds is too high, just simply reduce them value in pvp.
    50% ? 25% ? 10% ? i dont know, but i know that flat them at all is the wrost thing of ever...

    I don't see why the jesters are being completely removed

    Just remove the possibility to gamble andermants on them and keep gold gambling
    Unless there is a way to get gold by using andermants

    Now, the pvp issue is simple: BP saw a model that works in other games, think good, let's use it, without bothering to understand why it works in that context, then it removes it from its context and slaps it in the game without adapting it

    would it be at all possible to get comments from someone that has played like 20 matches of each type of pvp with these changes and give an indication of exactly the pros and cons

    *DISCLAIMER*

    Dear Heroes of Dracania,

    This letter is an overview of the upcoming features ......... they might change during the test phase according to your feedback.
    I have experienced only at sapphires removal and dwarf rebalance that you have listen our feedback, but not so much untill then or after.

    Economy Rebalancing

    We are currently going through all the offers in the game and updating all of the prices.

    We need to make the offer smaller not to adjust prices, DSO is like a permanent megashop.You need to sell only premium time, skins, costumes, mounts,pets and inventory space.Everythingg else ca be recognise as pay to win and no strimer Will make a review.


    Why are we doing this?

    NA

    What about Gold?
    We are also planning to update the coin income and outgoing for the players. This means that every item in the game will have a proper coin selling price that will increase the coin income for players a lot. We will also adjust the general coin drops. But this comes with a tradeoff – we will also rework all of the coin prices in the game. This includes crafting costs, travel costs and so on. This does not mean that everything will get more expensive. When it comes to crafting, for example, we are planning to scale the coin price for crafting according to the Andermant value of the resulting item. Our plan is to make coins more valuable and more important for all players and not just those who dive deep into the inherited enchentmant crafting.

    Expensive crafting and no jesters to win gold jackpots is not bad i can see that you will let then craft the gold they have and after that you put inf x to make them grind and craft again - so predictable.

    Gems

    The Gem system has been more complex since the release of the Sands of Malice content expansion and we want to clean that up again.

    What are we going to do?
    We will be removing the “old” versions of the gems and just keep the Qaizah versions (but we will most likely renaming them). That means we will exchange all of the existing non-Qaizah gems with the Qaizah ones. ......

    This is bad , this is the core of BP always nerfing and changing with no approval from players.I dont think is legal to do that with saphires.

    How will we expand the system?

    Another pay to win feature that came back every new extension.You will never learn from mistakes, you need to develop more on horizontal than vertical.

    What makes this approach different?

    You want to make them craft base and lock them in the final legendary state, another copy paste from other game i guess but is not in DSO spirit.

    Runes

    Like our plans for the gem system, we would like to simplify parts of the rune system as well. This means that we are planning to combine the two-handed and one-handed weapon runes of each type into one new rune that will grant a bonus based on the slot it is added to.

    You should done that from the start when you have exchange the sapphires first time.

    We will also increase the power level of the new Runes of Celerity to compensate for a part of the power which will be lost by the removal of sapphires (see below).
    I still dont think you should touch sapphires, every game has old artefacts you should find workarounds to give us other better ways to get speed.A New item, a bracelet that block all speed stat from your adorment can be a solution, and this way you put dmg on weapon crit and crit dmg on adorment and speed plus speed runes on bracelet and put saphires on inventory because îs more atractive that bracelet.


    Two-Handed Weapons
    We are also planning on increasing the base damage of all two-handed weapons within the game. Our goal is to make two-handed weapons be the weapons of choice for any player wanting to create a damage-focused character build.

    Not need.Allredy s-o many 2h build, how a ouț to make 1h build competitive again for solo farm?

    Jesters
    With this release, we are also planning to remove the Jesters feature from the game.

    Love the idea , they should not been implemented from the start.Has nothing to do with this game, casino in game . Hack and slash jesters...The game is ded i dont think îs a bad idea to remote this tu or but IT wont save the game after all damage has done. Anyway BP dont care they have earn so much money with that casino, is time to evolve to sportive bets or maybe some pvp boxes with items special designed for pvp since old item, gems.. Wont work anymore.

    Why are we doing this?

    What about the Gilded Clovers and Zumpe?

    How about all the jackpots and gems runes and so on...can you change the past? Jesters have done so much damage to this game, just like casinos in real life, they always destroy.How about to erase all post lv 40 content and start from scratch?

    Secret Lairs
    How about your promise with guild wars and so many others, when you will start to keep your promise? Give us what we need not what you want if you dont want to remain only players that play this game. Is logic... If you make this game for players do what they ask, you have many pages to read on creative corner.

    Crafting/Stack crafting/Inherit Crafting

    New way to make players grind they think that they leave the game because they have all and they dont have what to do. Noobs

    Ingredient Bag/
    Ingredients
    Not necessary the game is already complex for new players.

    Reduced Crafting Core Types
    Too late

    Potions, Elixirs, Tonics and Physics

    New items in shop,yeeey we dont need them.


    Tonics
    Tonics will increase a single stat by an absolute value. Tonics will have an active duration two hours.


    Physics
    Physics will increase a single stat by a certain percentage. They will come in two variants: simple and advanced. The simple versions will last for 30 minutes while the advanced versions will last for two hours.


    Alredy introduced this in a patch some time ago on test servers, now they will put that on shop, another pay to win form BP, instead of remove them they put more on shop.That is why this game die day by day.

    Quests
    No elemental cores but quests for recipes and ingredients.Seriously?..


    Recipes

    This could be a nice way to develop the game horizontally but i don't think you have the brain to do that.
    New Workbenches
    NOT necesar now, Maybe late.
    Achievements / Titles
    With all the new changes within the crafting system, we will also be adding many new achievements and titles for crafting enthusiasts.
    For enthusiasts....i dont care because i dont have 0,1 % discont if i have an achievment or 0.1% status în arena if i, m Marshall, learn to make that count.
    PvP Update

    General updates

    With this release, we are going to apply a few changes for the PvP battleground in Drakensang. Our goal with these changes is to shift our PvP to a more “based-on-your-action” experience and eliminating the "one-hit-kill" issue.

    Following changes:
    - Base values are also named PVP enabled in the item tooltip
    o Only these values will be available in PvP battles, except for open arenas
    - The following value increases will be deactivated:
    o Gems
    o Enchantments
    o Runes
    o Unique values, including set bonuses
    o Skill group effects


    - Legacy Equipment will have no effect in PvP battles, except for open arenas
    - To achieve a better experience a general buff will be active in PvP battles, except for open arenas
    - 40% faster movement speed, 200% increased block rate, +3225 (on level 55) to all resistances (level dependent)
    - Player summons’ health points will be reduced by 90% in PvP battles (compared to PvE maps and open arenas)

    To achieve a better matchmaking with this release, we decided to reset the ELO-System. This means that all current internal player scores will be reset, which will result in quicker matchmaking but the PvP statistics will stay untouched.

    Bad way to do this. If you make a moba from this if you can't use what you gain from farm from events there is no point to play PVP there will be allot of kids that they don't know what they are doing because remember is a f2p game and it will became frustrating if you cant use your stats to balance their lack of knowledge .
    Someone think that dso will be better as LOL but they dont know that the only players today în game are big players that cant giveup the game, you will destroy them and the last pice of game with them. I know you will attract more people but who will pay you? All those kids?

    Sub Topics

    Loot

    Along with updating all the item values in the game, we will also update all of the existing loot tables.

    Durability

    We will be completely removing the durability from the game. This means that players will no longer need to care about if their items may break during a longer farming runs and repair kits are no longer necessary.

    Mounts

    We will be removing the differentiation between mounts and epic mounts.

    Pets
    We will be introducing rarity levels for pets as well as the possibility to upgrade the pets. Besides that, we have improved the tooltip for pets so that the players can now distinguish between the bonus granted by the pet itself and the collector's bag bonus.

    We ask that so many times....why so late , why should this game die to do something we ask?

    Shop Updates

    Close the shop is bad for bussines.put a donation tab and you will get more money.

    Minimap update
    We will be updating the mini-map to be less overcrowded.

    Careful with that.

    Essences

    We will be reworking some of the existing essences as well as introducing new ones.

    Collector’s Bag

    There were several items missing from the collector’s bag. These will be added to it in this version.

    Daily Login Bonus

    We will be updating the daily login bonus as many of the item values have or will have changed.

    Travel items

    We will be introducing several new travel items that allow players to directly teleport to all of the different bosses in Dracania. Thabo will be the one offering these new travel items too (for both Andermant & Realm Fragments)

    Leaderboard Rewards

    We will also be updating the leaderboard reward chests and adding to them the possibility of getting pets, mounts, costumes and emotes.

    The rest with ess and travel items another p2w features BP add to this game to kill him faster.
    Leaderboards will become thrash if you wont give people gold remember that.

    Prices : 195gold for make adorment from purple to gold ... i not comment it
    Inventory expanse its still to expensive..
    Stability : Error 46 everytime when i trying to change map. So no way to try all quests.
    Elemental dungeons : overpowered mobs, at normal it compared to fatal/infernal mobs from Q
    2 times i use heredur normal > elemental dungeon (ice) and after clean chest mobs guardian at left side not disapear so only way back be teleport to city and get again error 46 ...

    I have quit the game some months now, and i was waiting some good changes so i could return if they were good, but oh dear lord what are those Devs thinking?
    All those (sorry) noobs. Who were saying gearless pvp and they were whining about it got what they wanted.
    Dear devs do you honestly think that people want their crafted gear and hard earned gems for killing only the mindless monsters?
    No wonder why the game is slowly dying.

    About the other changes i dont care at all, PvP was my main reason playing this game.
