Disconnection on evet automatic in town!

    Who ever made this kind of "fixing" on game , please fix it again , for real this time because not all people have high speed internet and could play the game without any internet problems... or atleast give all people their items that have been wasted like burners for the mini event challenge in the dwwarf event .. :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

    That would give rise to a really big exploit so i doubt that would ever happen.

    Well if they give you back the resources on disconnect , how will you fix it ? After all people would just go in , progress and then dc intentionally to get back the entry fee and go back in again.

    So you wasted burners, DSO does not care. Look at all the issues on Tegan and what did everyone get? 3 days of premium.

    The only things that get fixed quickly are the ones that negatively affect DSO, like good drops, easy boss kills, andermant falling out of chests, that sort of thing.

    Best you can hope for is the "we're looking into it". That will make you feel all better won't it?

    But then again if they made the fix by giving back entry fee to people who are disconnected, everyone will criticize them for another "bad fix". I know it is a big pain to lose resources and it should be fixed but the way it should be fixed should not give rise to another exploit.

    Yep, 'cus then people would disconnect at the end of their run and get the burners/map back and exploit it that way.

    The way they need to fix this is as sebastian_fl described. When you enter a map, a programming flag is set. While that flag is set, any attempt to leave the map through disconnect or error fails to reset this flag, so when you log back in, you return to the place you just left. This prevents being immediately kicked to town for a signal hiccup, while also preventing using the re-log method to get a new instance because you can't get a new instance until your flag has been reset... and what would be the only way to reset this flag? Why by going to town of course; using telaport, travel map, an arrow, or a disconnect greater than 3 min.

    The problem is, this involves critical thinking and thinking like a programmer but I have serious doubts as to the soundness of the developers' mental faculties.
