How many keys are needed to complete the event, at least the 7 progress bars?

According to my calculations, 9K is the highest limit. In reality, apparently, much less
You can see my calculations here (Russian)

Good work :) ...and very useful too.
I would ask you only one question: The multiplier factors in your table are tested, aren't them?
    Thanks for sharing

Yes, I went to different difficulties. The amount of progress is written if you hover over the cup with the mouse.

Thank you for the answer...I haven't a pg in TS so I can't test by myself.
    Thank you again.

Note that 9K is just the upper limit.
Here is only progress from locations, without buffs
You can get a lot of progress from the Sewerage under the Castle (the entrance there is not worth the keys, but the valve)
Formally, you can buy valves and make an event without spending a single key :)
I don’t know how many times and on what difficulty I will be able to go under the Castle on the main server. Perhaps this will be 30% of all progress, perhaps 50%. Accordingly, less keys will be spent.
It is very difficult to evaluate.

I agree, but I have some valves from last event so we have only to see how much progress is given (in average) for every difficulty.

    thank you

I'll try to farm as many as possible as long as i have the chance
of course if i wish to complete all minievents and side quests i need more
Well, considering that farming keys will practically be impossible, according to what friends have said me, i don't think if i'll bother with doing minis and the intestine eye thingy

Do u know how much progress can u get from Sewerage under the Castle and how much essence do u need to do it on INF III or ONF IV?
    Thank you.

That surely depends on your stats as well as which essence you're using.

Under the castle we must use antidote essences, if I 'm not wrong...

But there's the normal (blue-like) and mighty (red-like) antidote essence.

You don't need to make calculations at all ... don't bother.
Let me tell you how much I have spent.
I had constantly around 1000 keys in my inventory. They are dropping everywhere .
You need some amount of keys just to start the event since the sewers beneath fairground require keys now.
You get keys from monsters, amphoras, event amphoras ... etc.
That is a subjective question not everyone is having same offensive and defensive power.
You need antidotal essences ... without them the worms are immune to damage.
So each player will spend different amount of essences.
You should worry not about progress but about the amount of andermant and spirit stones you will spend there for reviving :D :D
Those worms are not a joke. I got killed by them on Normal difficulty. :)
In comparison ... the new boss Mhorblik is a noob compared to them worms.

so they buffed the worms then
i remember they were quite easy in previous editions of the event
