    FULL MOON EVENT OFFICIAL GUIDE
    [IMG]

    Quick Overview
    Required levels10-55
DurationAlways 3 days, happening once every month.

    Important Note

This new Full Moon event brings some quests that can only be completed when playing both the daily and the night versions of the Varholm map. This means that it will take you more than one event to complete that arc quest and you won’t be able to access the new map, Bloodmoon over Varholm, the first time you play it.

Once you have accessed Bloodmoon over Varholm, you’ll always be able to get a new portal to those lands simply by slashing Vargulf. You won’t need to complete the whole quest arc again.

How to proceed with the event when it’s active – Varholm at night

Head to Kingshill and talk to Thabo to accept the quest “Full Moon Rising”. The event will happen in the isle of Varholm (in Normal, Painful and Excruciating difficulties) and you’ll need 10 Realm Fragments for a realm path. Once you get there, talk to Rubina, who has a lot of problems to care about and will ask you for your help. Help her with all her quests to get amazing rewards on top for your hero!

    Special Rubina Quests
By the end of the “Full Moon Rising” quest, you’ll be requested to kill Vargulf, the Ancestral Wolf. As with the previous Full Moon event, you’ll need to put one Vial of Werewolf Blood on the Sacrificial Slab in order to summon him!

Also, pay attention to the chest next to the wrecked ship by the top of the map! Opening it will reveal you some scenes of the past and get you access to the Visions from the Past quest line. Here you’ll have the opportunity of knowing a little bit more about Vargulf’s story.

    Special Jon Sunlair Quests

After you complete some of those Rubina’s quests, you’ll see Jon Sunlair arriving to the settlement. Talk to him to get the “The Curse” quest arc activated. To complete this particular quest, you will need to wait until the Fullmoon event is over and then access the Varholm map during the day (read below).

Once you have talked to Jon and his peers and waited for another Full Moon event, you’ll be able to continue with the rest of the quest. You’ll see that you’ll need Silver Pebbles from the Moonsilver Mine. Remember to ready up before venturing into the mine as it won’t allow you to go back to Varholm!
    The Bloodmoon special quest arc

After you deliver all those Silver Pebbles to Jon and help NPCs Clarence, Pearl and Ace, you’ll need to access the daily version of Varholm once again. Once here find Rubina, who will get you started with the Bloodmoon quest. Varholm is full of secrets and Vargulf is not the only one terrorizing these lands…

Get back to Varholm at night to complete the last batch of Jon Sunlair’s quests. Rubina will be then waiting with the last part of the quest that grants you access to Bloodmoon over Varholm (in Normal, Painful and Excrutiating difficulties). Once the first portal appears in your play-through, your hero will always unlock it after slaying Vargulf (therefore, not repeating all the quests again).

Be careful though: the enemies that await here are rather tough. Stay alert for Simurr, Floshamm and Fezirw and do not let the red darkness swallow you while you try!

You’ll be able to access Bloodmoon over Varholm only if you have completed all the Jon Sunlair and Rubina’s quests.
    Careful with those enemies!
And even more careful with this one!

How to proceed with the event when it’s not active – Varholm during day

When the event is not active you can still access Varholm, albeit the map will look different, in daylight. Head to the town and talk to NPCs Clarence, Pearl and Ace. Then you will need to wait for the next Fullmoon event to access Varholm at Night and keep on helping Jon Sunlair and the rest of them!
In the meantime, you can always access this map to farm Silver Essences.
