Question about crafting

    Hi there
    I wonder if i put one platinum line item in the first slot and one platinum
    line in the second slot in the third slot put an one goldline item
    and in the last slot put a junk item.
    Then the question is.Will many tries yield better luck this way.
    rather than having one platinum line in the first and one in the second and
    goldlines in the rest.
    or is it to hard to get the fourth goldline from the random enchantment.

    First of all, if you combine 4 items of the same kind (e.g. 4 helmets), you can revert the attempt which gives you only the first 2 items back. 3rd and 4th items are lost.
    [For the record, if you combine 4 items of different kinds (e.g. 3 helms + 1 belt; or 2 helms + 2 rings; etc.), you don't get anything back on revert.]

    ^For that reason, when trying to get enchantments transferred from purple items, it is a good idea to do this repeatedly until both desired enchantments get transferred:

    1/0/0 + 1/0/0 + 0/0/0 + 0/0/0 --> 1/1/0/0


    If you have abundance of purple items with gold/platinum lines, you can do:

    1/0/0 + 1/0/0 + 1/0/0 + 0/0/0 --> 1/1/0/0 or if immensely lucky 1/1/1/0
    or
    1/0/0 + 1/0/0 + 1/0/0 + 1/0/0 --> 1/1/0/0 or if very lucky 1/1/1/0
    to increase the chance of successful transfer.
    But in these cases you lose purple #3 and #4 on revert!

    Also, be aware that when transferring from purple items, only 3 enchantments get transferred. The 4th one rolls randomly.

    A full gold/platinum item, i.e. 1/1/1/1 legendary is typically achieved like this:

    1/1/0/0 + 1/1/0/0 --> 1/1/1/0 or if super lucky 1/1/1/1
    then
    1/1/1/0 + 1/1/1/0 --> 1/1/1/1
    or
    1/1/1/0 + 1/1/0/0 --> 1/1/1/1



    One last note about transfer from purple items:
    In fact, if you are only looking to get gold lines (not platinum!), you can try a method of completely random crafting. This has nothing to do with transferring the lines:

    Just put any old purple junk on the work bench, e.g. 3 helmets + 1 belt. The result will be more likely a legendary helmet, less likely a legendary belt. Its enchantments will be completely random, but chances are they all roll golden.

    This way, you basically simulate a drop from a monster, only on a work bench.
    Note that platinum lines will never roll in this case, and you cannot revert this kind of craft.
