Rangers Essences Use

I open this thread to know if, in your opinion, Ranger class uses more essences than pair level characters of other classes, while doing the same thing (like grimmag mod1).

I mean, my friend (Mage) said he uses 500 ess playing Q1 inf1 (just map1 and map2).
I have ~5k more dmg and higher crit dmg and I use like double ess than him.

What about you?

Is your attack speed faster? What type of bow do you use? These are things i would consider as to why you might be using more essense.

I know my ranger uses more than my mage but i believe it is because the attack speed is faster on my ranger and also my mage uses a 2h and not a 1h like my ranger. I only use a 1h ranger at this point because of lack of speed runes to equip a 2h siege bow. Normally a 2h weapon will use less essense than a 1h but then again attack speed is going to be the final determination i believe as to how much essense is consumed.

 

Also, some skills will use more than one essence and if you use those a lot, then that could be a factor as well. Unfortunately, I don't track that sort of thing, so I can't give you numbers.

Ghostly Shroud (idk... Cloack dropped from Halloween Event's minievent).



So we did two runs Q1 fatal this morning... The average ess use was ~943 green / ~366 blue for me and ~685 green / ~341 blue for my friend
