    Dear Heroes of Dracania,

This release is packed with different adjustments to improve existing systems and an event, which hasn’t been active since quite some time. We will briefly guide you through the topics, but please also scroll down to get detailed information!

With this release, we will re-introduce the Infested Sewers of Kingshill event. We’ve revamped the event challenge completely and added several new rewards, such as new pets and a completely new equipment set.

And in regards to the community feedback about the new event attires: From now on, we will also offer different versions of both New and Full Moon attires that last a complete year. Of course they come with a discount when compared to the usual 1-event-attire. Please feel free to compare by yourself and pick the one that is more convenient for you.

Additionally, we’ve increased drop chances of unique items in the Parallel Worlds and improved the usage of e.g. the melting tool (no more mounting issues!).

You can also find a list of minor improvements and bugfixes that we applied to this version down below.

We hope that you like the changes and that you’re looking forward to the Infested Sewers of Kingshill event!

    Infested Sewers of Kingshill
Infested Sewers of Kingshill - Toxic Fumes changes
Instead of switching between the Sewers beneath the Harbor & Sewers beneath the Crypt of Kings, the challenge will provide a completely new area and a new boss on top.

All enemies inside these areas will still require the Antidotal Essences (or the attire) to be defeated.

To recap: What are Antidotal Essences and where can I find them?
Antidotal Essences are special essences that are needed to defeat certain monsters of the Infested Sewers of Kingshill Event.

There are several ways to obtain the essences.
    1. Drops - e.g. from progress bars
    2. Crafting
    Combine:
    000-combine.png

The ingredients can be obtained in the dungeons of the event. Some will drop from enemies, some are being collected directly.

    3. Shop
All four ingredients cost 20 Andermant each.

    Which enemies require Antidotal Essences?
    All enemies within these areas:
    • Abandoned Sewer Passage
    • Hidden Cave
    • Sewers beneath the Castle
    • AND all worms (e.g. in the Rampaging Worm Events, Toxic Death Worm, etc.)
    Sewers beneath the Fairground changes
The existing structure of the map has been changed in several areas, such as the smaller rooms in the west. There is one bigger room from now on. This improves spawn ratios and overall performance.

Additionally, a new cave area has been added to the map which slightly resembles the characteristics of the Hagastove Grotto. This area will be a central location in the unlocking process of the new challenge areas (related to „Infested Sewers of Kingshill – Toxic Fumes“).

New unique enemies have been added that can appear in the map (see below „Delirious enemies“).

Due to the changes listed above, the map entry will cost Sewers Keys from now on.

    Sewer Key Accessibility
In addition to the known offers in the shop, Sewer Keys can now be collected from all worthy opponents in Dracania. They will also drop in all event maps and from progress bars. We will activate special teaser encounters before the actual event starts. (See below)

Infested Sewers of Kingshill – Rat Invasion (Teaser Encounter)
At a certain time before the main event starts, Sewer Rats will appear in all dungeons of Dracania (Parallel Worlds not included) and can be defeated to collect Sewers Keys before the actual event starts. Keep yourself updated by checking our social media channels (e.g. Discord).
Our Rat-Catcher CMJesse will inform you about the whereabouts of the rats!

Poison Buster Set & Delirious enemies

The new Poison Buster Set can be obtained in different areas of the event.

    013.pngAmulet of Deflection 014.png
New object to interact with: “Handwheel”
To unlock the handwheel, one Sewer Key is needed. Once the handwheel has been unlocked, it will spawn random objects, such as additional Amphoras or powerful enemies. The handwheel is also the source of the two new rat pets.

Handwheels can be found in the following maps:
    • Sewers beneath the Fairground
    • Sewers beneath the Harbor
    • Sewers beneath the Crypt of Kings
New Event Challenges – “Rampaging Worms”

The Rampaging Worms events are short challenges on higher difficulties that require an efficient strategy. They will run four times a day and lead to different dungeons of Dracania (only Infernal difficulties!). In total, there will be 48 challenges during the Infested Sewers of Kingshill Event.

The event window will tell which dungeon is currently being haunted by the Rampaging Carrion-worm. In each of these dungeons, 5 Mounds of Dirt will appear under which a worm could hide. By using a Drill Head ( 010.png ), one Mound of Dirt can be removed. You can then find useful items, such as Drill Heads, Sewer Keys, Gold or the Rampaging Carrion-worm itself. There is always only one worm per map.

With the progress item dropped by the worm, rewards can be earned from the respective progress bar and - in the end - one Wyrm Poison that is needed to craft the Amulet of Deflection. To craft the Amulet of Deflection, 35 Wyrm Poisons are needed, so it‘s important to finish as many Rampaging Worms events as possible. 1500 progress items are needed per bar.

The required Drill Heads can drop from both bosses (Toxic Death Worm & Mhorblik) and dead citizens, that can be found in the new dungeon: „Abandoned Sewer Passage“. The Drill Heads are also purchaseable in the Shop when a Rampaging Worms event is active.

    Rampaging Worms event packages

Additionally, progress packages can be purchased in the Cash Offers section.
    The packages are:

    Rampaging Hurricane
    • 180 x Drill Head
    • 1500 x Golden Plumber’s Dogtag (Event Progress)
    Rampaging Storm
    • 60 x Drill Head
    • 500 x Golden Plumber’s Dogtag (Event Progress)
Both packages can be only purchased once and only when there is a Rampaging Worms event active!

    New Boss: Mhorblik
A new boss will make its debut in the Infested Sewers of Kingshill event, called Mhorblik.

There are some requirements that need to be fulfilled to reach Mhorblik.

First of all, it’s necessary to finish the quests provided by Sir Hardy. A hidden passage will be unlocked when helping him to defeat the monsters that lure below Kingshill’s know sewers.

    This includes the following quests:
    Both The Armpit of Kingshill-Quests

Once Sir Hardy offers the “Shocking Eyesight” quest, the challenge area can be unlocked. This quest is only visible once „Infested Sewers of Kingshill - Toxic Fumes“ has been activated.

The first quest must be completed to get the second one. This second quest leads directly to Mhorblik.

    Boss Fight: Mhorblik
Mhorblik itself is a stationary boss that will attack with different skills from its central location.

Before the actual fight with Mhorblik starts, 8 Contaminated Grotto Worms must be defeatedbeforehand, divided into two groups with four worms each.

Once the Contaminated Grotto Worms has been defeated, Mhorblik will open the eye and start attacking.

    Skill: Stalactite Shot
Mhorblik shoots a beam of energy towards the ceiling of its cave to make it partially collapse.
    Stuns any hit player.
While initially this directly targets a player, several random locations are being targeted as soon as Mhorblik's hit points go below 60%.

    Skill: Death Wink Missile
Mhorblik will send one of its spawns directly to a player. If it hits, the player will receive a debuff that will cause an explosion after a short amount of time. Any other player (except the actually infested one!) is silenced afterward and will receive the former effect. As this can result in an endless chain of silencing effects, players must move and react fast!

    Skill: Toxic Blast
A powerful 360 nova attack that will cause tremendous amounts of damage to all hit players. To avoid getting hit, players can hide behind one of the two rock formations in the bottom left or right corners of the combat area.

Boss Fight Phase 2 – Gas Flood
Next to the usual boss phases (which are also included in this fight), Mhorblik will start to flood the room with gas once he lost ~70% of its life.

    New Monster: Spit Bulbs
Spit Bulbs can be found in the Abandoned Sewer Passage and in Mhorblik’s Hidden Cave. These poisonous glands will attack everyone nearby by spitting poison and spawn Maggots and other creatures.

The Spit Bulbs in Mhorblik’s Hidden Cave can’t be attacked at all. They will attack just like the spit bulbs in the Abandoned Sewer Passage, but next to spawning Maggots, they will also spawn Muddy Grouts. So the longer the fight lasts, the more minions need to be dealt with.

    New Pets

All pets listed below are part of the Infested Sewers of Kingshill Event!

    Death Wink
Can be found when defeating the new boss, Mhorblik.

The Rat King can be found when using the “Handwheel”. Once the Rat King has been defeated, it can be obtained as a pet version.

The Rat King can only appear when it is visible in Kingshill, in front of one of the maps.

Example: When using a handwheel in the Sewers beneath the Fairground, the Rat King can only appear if it has been sighted in the hole in the ground on the Fairground in Kingshill. Same as for the other two maps.

So keep in mind: Only if the Rat King can be sighted in front of the dungeons, there is a chance that it appears after using one of the handwheels.
