So, in this release, the developers fixed a skill that wasn't broken, and then when people asked if there was something wrong, they released a Q/A that deflected the issue and says "everything is fine, nothing to see here."

    Followed by:
That doesn't look lake a "yes" or a "no." It looks like the kind of answer you give when you have no clue what you are talking about.

Lets see if they are right...

So, the skill should do 150% of the user's base damage per second. That means there is a little bit of math going on here.
If the skill tics once a second, then it should do 150% damage per hit.
If it hits twice a second, then it should only do 75% damage per hit.
If it hits three times a second, then it should do 50% damage per hit
    ... and so on.

So how often does the laser tic? I tested it on the training dummy, and it is at least twice a second (didn't time it precisely).

So, is the damage 75% or lower? Nope! It is hitting for 150% a tic, but at a rate of twice a second or more... so in reality, it is doing 300% or more of the user's base damage per second.

Way to go dev team. You took a skill that was working properly (according to the skill description) and "fixed" it. Then, when someone questioned you, instead of checking and realizing your mistake, you dismissed the issue. I'm so proud of your mathematical prowess and your quality assurance check procedures. Just think... The time spent "fixing" this bug and the time spent having to fix it back could have been used to address a real issue in the game.

Here is what you can do to fix the problem:
    • Put it back the way it was and edit the description to say that the skill hits twice a second so that noobs don't report it as a bug in the future.
    • Fix the tic rate to once a second instead of twice a second and edit the description to say that the skill hits once a second for noobs' sake.
    • If it is supposed to be 300% (depending on what the tic rate really is) per second, adjust the skill description to say so. Don't forget to add a part where it says the skill hits twice a second so that noobs don't report it as a bug in the future.
