I'm confused where am I supposed to plant these seeds??? I have looked everywhere and can't seem to find where to plant them and I did go into the event fields but still nothing :oops::eek::eek:

On the event field, but it starts out empty. So you first have to place the fields (2x2, 2x1 or 1x1) before you can plant the seeds.

The empty field is the body of water above the buildings.

This is what it looks like after you place 99 1x1 plots:

Zero, why would you use 1x1 plots???? Waste of water & MANURE. Use all the 2x2 plots possible.

Don't worry, I haven't lost my mind. :p I just used the image that was provided in the FAQ.

My ‘Age of Sail’ Event Playfield has 21 large plots of land (2x2), 5 medium-sized plots of land (2x1) and 5 small plots of land (1x1); one more 2x1 and two less 1x1 than « zerodegrees ».

I noticed the 1x1 do not give as many drops as the 4x4.

I bought all the masts. Each Mast purchased nets 12 coins (spend 40 in shop, gain 52 in the quest) Cost is about 2.2 million for each 12 coins netted. These are very good deal relative to what players are spending on the quest based on market prices.

Goat price has been high so players are giving 50,000 a goat. (20 coins for 3.7 million in opportunity cost in the market plus wood and saw tools). This is the most expensive part of the quest.

This 2nd step can be in avoided by buying logs in the shop (5 time purchase).

Buying the other resources in the shop are also going be a good deal for many players (depending on their situation).

The cc price actually is pretty good compared to other quests . Almost every quest has and high opportunity cost ( in cc) of animals that could be raised and sold in place of the event crop. Assuming 30,000 cc in the market per space, 90 spaces it cost 2.7 million cc per day to participate in a quest that grows crops on a normal farm. A 5 day quest therefore cost 13.5 million cc. In fact most people playing this strategy would make far more than 30,000 per space in 24 hours. In many quests I spend more on the quest than I get in rewards. Often the cloud row is the primary reward.

Therefore, this quest is similar or less expensive in cc compared to most quests.

a few hundred of your worthless speckled goats for .... now get this:

a few hundred chocolate shakes!:cry: And only because this is you I am willing to loose.

:( Big problem with a speckled goat deal.

How many fish can you part with and for how much? I'll take up to 50,000 but no less than 1,000. Price?

Sorry farmer_broke, but you're gonna have to look elsewhere. :(
I'm in no position to become a broke supplier. Too busy burning my barn for all these events! xD:wuerg:

 Now just hoooooooooooooooold on to your donkey for just a dag blame broke-minute here.

I need to inform you of some chinchilla-broke reasoning .... and real quick:eek:
    • If I want something either reasonable or unreasonable then of course I am well prepared to hear 10 thousand NOOOOOOO's.
    • ALSO .... now get this and quick ... I am also prepared to hear and listen to ONE Yes and get what I want.
 well ah rhaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa .... a single negotiated sale in absolutely no way will entitle your farm to be classified as a "broke supplier."

Very very few are ever called (due to the benefits) and far far far fewer are ever chosen.

And congratulations for whatever you are doing with this event.

    • One more thing. PLEASE do not buy my fish on the market. I am inviting fish to increase enrollment in the sanddollar-the-fish school.

    'Twas a joke, farmer_broke. ;)

I know very well my farm would never qualify to be one of your suppliers. You'd probably be disgusted with all the empty space in my barn. :p

Oh stop, I know you don't approve. xD I can practically see you shaking your head, wondering when I'll come to my senses. xD

I promise not to buy your fish, so please don't blame me if they happen to disappear from the market.
Think we should stop derailing the thread now. ;)

This farm was growing junks. I came to my senses and just stopped. But the farm has made surely 4 billion with what is needed. I find it quite amazing what some do not have. But up to each of us.

I deleted the offers. I could get more using another farmer's name.

With fish (I know of sanddollar-the-fish), many farmers do not produce them. And they do not have many either. BP gives them away and many feel they need do nothing else but wait and get a fish crate every day or so. xD BP developers know this. Look at feed prices. And BP called for fish recently too in a breeding event. Also oranges (a fish food ingredient) are called for in another event. Orange trees were sold at a discount too. Fish are under-priced for now. Think many produce Koi?

zero, all this is harmless between us. Thank you for helping me. (Confirmation sure makes it easier for me to operate.)

Wish you well with the event.

So right, FB. Fish are always (usually) the critter I have most of. Plus the crates come in threes and most days I remember to open them I have nine. In those boxes I also get animal feed and products so I don't put either Fish or Koi out often. :D

Now, on another note and with everything else going on (and not knowing where else to post) don't forget MM starts today for 36 hours! ;)

i have goats and things that may be of interest!! I'm going to jump in and sell now....I got enough of those junks to make one building so I'm cutting my losses and bailing out!
Zero, I have a few jewels I would kindly give you but theres no 'trade a product when you need it' in this game.
poor ol' Broke will have to cancel his order for a professional money counter -you know the ones they have in the casinos?
I'll send him a spiderman coin purse with a zipper in real vinyl and see if he could use it.
