How is a player able to keep repairing even while being shot. User makaveli was shooting a Marauder on 6/1 today and his HP kept rising. I even shot him a few times and his health would undoubtedly go right back up. He wasn't using amulets and didn't receive any kind of repair balls. He stayed within maybe 1,000 hitpoints of full HP the whole time he was shooting this Marauder even though it was dealing 25k damage.

From what I have been told, if you constantly hit repair while having repair buff, repair gem, hourglass, and other items equipped it is possible to stay repaired.

I've already seen it with a single player. He shot a NPC and a NPC shot into it. Still, the lives of the players did not dwindle. Is that really possible? TEX-BULL I probably did not understand your explanation. Please describe it in more detail. You see it is a fairly important message for me and my other teammates. Thank you

If a player has his ship set up a certain way with maximum healing through skills, castles, carpenter lvl 5, certain healing buffs then it could be possible to fire a couple shots, get hit by npc and hit repair, and continually repeat this process, then in theory a player could keep his ship repaired and damage an npc.

I have seen this and there is very simple explanation to this. You run script or use gaming mouse script which when activated shoots and immediately stops shooting thus allowing start of repair ( for about 1,5 -2 seconds, while cannons reload) and then stops repairing to start the cycle from beginning.

I don't know if this is legal or not ( really don't care because of bigger problems in game) but if you are quick fingered you can almost do it manually.

Lets be very careful talking about running scripts, as use of outside programs is cheating and we do not want to encourage players that would not consider cheating to explore those options. No one has broken rules in there thread but I do not want anyone to cross that line.
Just a polite warning to head off any discussion/accusations that could break forum rules.

although uncommon, it is a bot fair and simple, I have seen it in behemoth also, they program to repair the damage as they're shooting the npc providing the npc does low enough damage. it's been around for a while but it's also uncommon. sorry tex but I don't mind the ban. it's been around a while :p

Seems that y'all are determined to talk about bots/scripts so I will closed before it becomes necessary to issues warnings.
