Now we have a message about developers " HELLOOOOO LEVEL 15- STILL EXIST " what are this updates first comonwelth canons below 20 maps now you give 20 extra canons that we are not able to get bcs no way of farming crowns on low maps. Are you for real its been years since you last updated sth about new players .

You have uncovered the shining truth mate. BP lost their interest long ago in trying to gain new players<---(ultimately, the lifeblood of any game). They only cater to the credit card veteran players, and eventually that will end this game. It's this simple: more decks, more types of cannons, more types of ammo, more shields, more hit points (both regular base and VP base), new amulets, more skill points, more castles, more castle levels, etcetera. Their spiral of greed will never end until the game does.

I have to completely disagree with this, sorry. BigPoint's plan is is to encourage players to level up, and they do this my introducing new updates that you can only/mostly benefit from if you have access to crowns. Players before complained about how Level 15 players could be maxed out and sink everybody from the Baby Raid. Baby Raid is meant for small players, and so they are encouraging the big ones to level out of it.

Since they introduced Voodoo Cannons lv5, I have seen at least 5 big players leave the baby raid and level up towards 30, one of which being the #1 BP ranked player on our server, and who has a maxed out account with full Level 4 Doomhammers. These players rightly should not be in the Baby Raid because it is not designed for them.

Not everybody can have the best of both worlds. Stay in Baby Raid and get what you can, then level up further down the line when you are ready for the extra cannon slots and other Crown-based items.

i agree about strength but let they make new formula about strength and stuff , i get sunk with only 2 hits by big players they kick me off events and stuff,,im spending little money every month but still more i spend to build up more bp does to ruin my investiment thats so unfair and they think they will get new players in the game dude get real.

I completely get where you are coming from. The game has a strong vibe of "Get completely smashed around until your boat is maxed out" about it which does need revising. The developers have however taken into account one of A-R-K-Y's ideas, which was a gearing system. I am not sure if this is just being discussed or if they are making progress on this, but it will essentially be a system that ranks accounts based on their skill, so a player that has full Lv22 Gems, Full Lv4 Doomhammers and maximum Skills/Castles would be ranked as high as possible, whereas a new player would be ranked right at the bottom. I expect it would be something like a score out of 100.

They would then be able to use this to potentially alter the payouts of events of access to certain areas or items based on your score. This could make it much easier for weaker players to benefit in places, rather than basing it entirely on level.

    Thanks,

    Hey mate,

I know we have discussed this before, so I am not going to repeat what I have previously said on this topic. It is to encourage players to level up, which I feel is a good addition to the game.

I will say however, that if you are being sunk off of events in 2 hits as you state, then there are still plenty of other things for you to work towards which will help you boats defence, and probably your offence. The upgrades to do this do not require Crowns, but probably both Pearls and Crystals. Being level 15 you do have access to the mini raid, yes it is not as good as the Commonwealth Raid, however with the "big" players leaving, you will then find the Miniraid getting easier and easier for smaller players to farm, and you can achieve the upgrades you need. Once you are in a bigger position, then you can level up and start working towards the Crown upgrades.

Just to be clear on my views:
    • Crown Upgrades makes players want to level up
    • As players level up, the mini raid gets easier
    • As mini raid gets easier, smaller boats get to earn pearls easier and build up
    • Small players should not try to look too far into the future; don't go after the Crown upgrades until you have the Pearl/Crystal upgrades (unless you want to level up to 26 and farm the Commonwealth Raid ASAP)

I totally respect (and appreciate) your thoughts and opinion mate. But the problem (in my opinion) is that what you say would be exactly correct...."IF"....and that is a big "IF"....BP focused on new players. I started in 2009 with Maps 4/1 and down all being PvE. Now we have 68 maps and not 13 PvE maps.....only 4 PvE maps!! I have written about this many times in the Forum and it still falls on deaf ears. Only recently they have added back the chance to upgrade some of the older (which were once top-of-the-line) cannons with crystals. And all of these additions they keep adding just make the gap to becoming a top boat that much wider (and more expensive in time and money) for new players.
