With this current event (seavengers) being a pretty poor event i do not understand why bigpoint don't test these events on beta server first before bringing them into the game?

Maybe you(bigpoint) test them yourselves before putting an event onto a server, but i'm sure hearing feedback from your customers who play the game, from all different backgrounds and probably have better knowledge at what their fellow gamers want from the game, is better than just narrowing down the views to the seafight team, which is most likely a biased view.

Look at any good game they all have beta servers that run 24/7 to test things before they are put live.

I do not understand why bigpoint does not allow beta server to run all the time, or at least test events for a couple of days before they are going to be introduced live so you can fix all the bugs and rebalance the rewards correctly?

Is this really too much to ask?

We dont need to Beta test every single Marauder Days or Jolly Roger days event before it goes live.
Many of the other events are a rename of previous events that we already Beta tested.
We are already playing and replaying the same tired event format that we have been playing for years and years,
so Beta testing these has no purpose.

Beta testing should be reserved for something new. Not just opened up for entertainment value.

Just another attempt to try and get bp to have beta on more so they can play a big boat and not have to work for it. All you hear when beta not up is beta players crying when beta up! To funny they want to play it like a live server and not test items as attended why it's a loke anymore even trying ot test should just kill the beta period never bring it back or just invite a small amount of players to will test it as was designed and not to try and play as a live server.

I understand both your views, and therefore maybe closing the beta server after every time the new event/update has been looked into could solve your concerns. That way, sure people get to play in a good account for a couple of days - but that account gets reset and they play on a server which is bound to have bugs. I dont care if people want to play on a maxed account for a couple of days a week if it means my live server account is having a good experience with events which have been tried and tested.

This event may have been on in the past as well as some others, but i have been told the rewards are different this time compared to last time. The rewards have been made worse this time, and maybe that is because things haven't been tested to ensure this event isn't a total waste of time.

As for freedom events that are on regularly and don't change much, yes i agree there is no need to test them, however for events that bigpoint want to tweak and ones that haven't been on in a while, they should really be tested first to ensure the rewards are still correct for amount of ammo used as well as any problems with the event.

I do not play beta server, but i play a normal server which i have put a lot of money into the account to have it be strong as well as a lot of others have. I am not looking to play servers for free just for the hell of it. I enjoy playing my server and enjoy the guild i'm in and i want to have a good experience on this game without the bugs.

I think the least we deserve are events which do not need to be changed and have no issues from day 1. I respect both your opinions, but i really think to improve this game, the beta server needs to be active regularly to cut out any bugs before it gets to the live server.

The only things changed in the events are the various prizes, not the event itself, personally I don't see a reason to run a beta for events unless it is actually a new one being set forth, tbh.
