Hello, apologies for my mini rant, but I do have them every now and then, and since I noticed raids were mentioned in a post here in general feedback, I wrote my own personal opinion on them . . but since it didn't follow the rules of sticking with the OP, I moved it here.

I will put my 2 cents in on raids, and will most likely be flamed for it afterwards . . I always thought that the raids were meant for players to build there boats without having to worry about getting shot at while they work on their boats. there it is in a nutshell . . a player is only able to use the raids these days only if they are with a particular guild/alliance nowadays, unguilded get to go but only as long as either no one notices or are friends with someone in the controlling guild/alliance.

I know this be a fighting game, and never really doubted it . . but there should be a place in the game where players can work on their boats without having to worry about interference, if one is in a raid, whether it is the sun raid or the commonwealth, then it should be treated as neutral ground as long as one is building their boat, the regular maps should be where fighting should remain, as well as chasing pearls to chase p ammo. This is just my own thoughts and opinion, and I know no one will like this one, but there it is.

I also think that raid maps should be neutral maps, where attacking other players should not be possible. On the Skandi/Spanish server, the Commonwealth raid is totally controlled by the biggest ally on the server and everybody else, who comes on the raid, will be sunk within seconds incl. neutral and tag less players.

In Commonwealth raid, you can easily make approx. 100.000 pearls in profit every hour (much more if you also succeed in boarding Usurper), so 500.000 pearls in profit for 3-4 hrs in raid is very common.

This make a huge unbalance in the game between those controlling the raid maps and those who have no opportunity to join the raid maps.

It is easy for those controlling the raid maps to say "If you want to join the raid map, fight for it, this is a Pirate game". It is not easy to "fight for it" when you are outnumbered 1 to 5 or 1 to 10.

The new Castles are soon available. The total cost for upgrade (if you already are level 7 all over) is around 17 mill pearls (13 mil with discount days). This is a huge amount of pearls for most players, but for those players with access to Commonwealth raid, this is peanuts. That amount of pearls, you can easily make in around 7 - 14 days on Commonwealth raid (depending on time used in raid). Most players with access to Commonwealth raid have 20+ mill pearls on their boat at any given time.

I am not writing this to complain, as I already have access to the Commonwealth raid as I am so lucky to be part of the ally controlling the Commonwealth raid and I only shoot on aggressive players on raid map. Neutral and tag less players I only shoot if they shoot me first.
