A while ago there was a post in the 'General Questions' area of the forum titled 'Where are the admiral cannons?'.
One of the replies was from ManOverboard showing a screenshot of the 'Weapons Starter Pack' from the payment section.
This displays a price of $9.99
UK pricing for the same item is £8.99
    9.99 USD =8.29220EUR
    8.99 GBP =10.0951EUR
So why is the UK being charged 20% more than the US?
How much are other countries being charged?
Is the UK being used as a cash cow to give other countries discounted goods and hence an unfair advantage in purchasing ingame items?
A reply of 'exchange rates change' is not a valid excuse, dynamic pricing against a standard cost in euro's can be applied using available api's from exchange bureau's.
So BP what is the price of items and how much are other countries being charged?

They'll just say because of Brexit which does not even correlate to this unfair payment section on UK players. They must think everyone in UK is rich or something.

why people asking about priceing, they can charge anything they want. your 8.99 pound or whatever is like 15 cdn.
pretty sure its mostly based on economy, hence why brazil, veni, hungry etc.. have little cheaper, to expect the exact same payment from lets say a country where they make in 2 days what others make in a hour, is just ( insert your own word here )

Yes in 2nd and 3rd world countries it makes sense but in Germany and USA which have equal or better economies than us we have to pay more? is that fair?

dont quote me on this but im pretty sure its illegal for a company to charge more money to one country than the other for digital goods because the price difference is pretty insane if you spend £100 you can get a smaller pack if you were say from germany or brazil they either need to equal out our payments or rise the payments in other countries. this is called price discrimination which is ilegal therefore this needs to be sorted "Price discrimination is illegal if it's done on the basis of race, religion, nationality, or gender, or if it is in violation of antitrust or price-fixing laws."

BP decided to adjust the prices in Pund due to brexit. In june 2016 just prior to Brexit the GBP/EUR exchange rate was 1,3, currently the exchange rate is 1,13, -13% , BP decided to raise the prices by 12%. That admiral pack cost 9,99 euro with the current exchange rate you´re basically paying the same, The UK players are not being overpriced.Perhaps you can argue american players are enjoying an unfair discount, that is a much more valid argument in my wiew. BP does not have different prices because of ones nationality. I think a solution to what some find is an unfair advantage or disadvantage is simply that all players will pay in Euro :)

I like this idea if we all pay in euros no matter what it’s the same price it just depends of the payment methods though because for example PayPal charges you for exchanging pounds to euros therefore it would still cost more however if they gave us the ability to add a balance to our account and it exchanges the pounds to euros due to that days exchange rate then this would remove that problem

Payment in euro's only is the more viable and fairer option. This method would maintain that the appropriate exchange rate was used on the day the actual transaction was conducted.

This accuracy would mean that all the external EU Countries would either benefit or lose out depending on how strong their currency was against the Euro on the day the transaction took place. Some cards do not charge for foreign transactions, therefore there is not always any need to pay charges for these types of converted transactions if you ensure the right cards are used.
